Our main AC unit went out last year in April 2022. We went through our home warranty company which had a contract with this company. They came out in May 2022 and confirmed we needed a new unit. However, THEY NEVER MEASURED OUR SQ.footage, or did any of the test to make sure the unit we had- was the same size we currently needed to keep our home cool. They didn’t sit down and go over anything! We spent all summer calling and waiting on them to install our unit. ALL HOT SUMMER LONG!!! They were about an hour and half in distance from our home however they accepted this job, that was their choice, we had no choice in the company selection! We called a lot, most days they didn’t answer our calls, Lisa was rude and repeatedly told us that since we lived an hour away- we were basically put on the back burner. This was very frustrating and cost us a lot of money using window units over the summer. Finally in August 2022 they finally came to install the unit.
Fast forward to now… June 2023. Since the replacement of our unit in August of 2022 we have continued to have issues of the unit freezing up during fall, winter and spring. We’ve had several service calls(total of 7 calls) with the warranty company as well as hiring two other companies to try to figure out why our brand new unit doesn’t work! When we contacted the heating and air company LLC- they refused to come look at the unit and stated that we only had a six month warranty with them! That is a HUGE RED FLAG! Who spends thousands of dollars on a new unit and the company only backs their work for 6 months? One company came out and found a plastic bag that was inside our unit left from installation. (120.00)Another technician drained Freon, checked piston and replaced the drier. (800.00) They all agreed that there was something causing a restriction in the unit. We had another service call yesterday and thankfully the technician found the issue! They found that the installer- The heating and air company LLC- had left the filter along with a thick waxy paper almost covering the filter in the unit under our house! So our brand new unit was only getting a tiny amount of air flow which was causing it to freeze! SEVEN MONTHS OF THIS ALL BECAUSE OF POOR DETAIL INSTILLATION!
I sent the heating and air company LLC a text yesterday and showed them what was found- they didn’t respond.
I would not recommend this company! Poor scheduling and reliability , poor customer service, and poor installation!
Great family owned company. Kept me updated on appt. Explained system well and what was happening with my unit. Fixed it and made sure everything else was working well. Very prompt and educational. Highly recommend this company for repairs and ongoing maintenance.
Here's a great reason of why you need to use Sam and his team. While they were here performing their semi annual maintenance, they found a problem with one of the systems that was likely to cause a problem in the coming few months. They were able to repair it without any issues and we can look forward to a cool summer without having to have someone come out.

He also found out my parts were under warranty and saved me money in the process. If I ever have any HVAC system issue in the future, this will be the first company I reach out to.
Sam was absolutely amazing. He replaced my AC unit's motor so I didn't have to replace the unit completely and saved me a substantial amount of money and hassle. He came out to look at my unit super fast when some other companies were telling me that it was going to take them weeks just to come out. Communication was top of the line and I didn't feel like I was getting scammed. Reliable Heating and Air told me last year that I would need a whole new unit. Needless to say, do yourself a favor and use The Heating and Air company.

Very happy they were able to get me a new unit through my home warranty. House is cooler, unit is quieter, and we are happier. I have already signed up for the preventive maintenance program they provide to keep my unit in top running condition. I definitely would recommend them to anyone.

They took the time to teach and show me what was going on and what as wrong. They are hard working and I will continue to use them in the future.

Sam performed the necessary repairs efficiently and with a sense of pride. I highly recommend this company and will be using them for any other service and biannual maintenance.
Had a company suggest that I needed to have repairs done that were not needed. These guys came out gave me the honest truth and had ac repairs complete in an hour. Gave us the rundown and showed us proof of what actually needed to be done unlike the other company. I will ensure that I am using them moving forward. Highly recommend
