I had another company come out and tell me the A/C problem was going to be over $3,000 to fix. I wanted another opinion, so called Ocean Air. The A/C technician came out and fixed the problem for under $500! I will continue to use this honest company for all my A/C needs.
Landlord contracted them to install a new unit. So many issues since then. The unit has stopped working 4 times and each time they blamed us or didn’t accept any responsibility...the thermostat probably isn’t set right or to the same temp in each room so it froze, did we change the filters?, or it’s the vents not the unit. I suppose the dead animal smell that appeared right after they finished was us too. The last visit was the air went out after we used the heater. Now the heater doesn’t work. I suppose we broke that too by turning it on. Mind you there are 2 units and never a problem with the old one. George the manager(?) is extremely condescending and talks over you, especially if you’re a woman. And like others who have complained they claim to call you and leave messages for appointments...this is an ongoing problem. They also never show when they say they will.
I was very happy with the service. Cesar the technician was very knowledgeable! the lady at the office was super friendly and she was able to send them to my house just a couple hours after I called.
I had a new AC unit installed, they gave me a fair price and did a great job. They were always polite and their customer service was excellent, I would highly recommend them if you are thinking of replacing your AC.
Did a great job installing a new HVAC five years ago and were creative in installing an additional airduct and new air return in our older home. Five years later system still working great and efficient.
Made an appointment to check home AC and was given a window of 2hrs. When tech never showed I called for an ETA. Their excuse for not showing up was "sir I called you 10x and you never picked up your phone". They even said they left me messages. Come on people we are living in an age of technology that if I were to miss a call, which I did not, my phone would have 10x missed phone calls showing. Hmmmm never got those so called voice messages either. Unreliable and not forthcoming about a possible screw up in their schedule. Will not do business with dishonest people. Should have just apologized about screw up instead of trying to put the blame on a potential customer.
The technition that came to my home was very professional and took the time to answer my questions about the problem. He troubleshot the system and quickly discovered the problem. He then explained the different repairs for my problem. Once I decided on what I wanted done he changed the part and ensured the system was working correctly.
We are very happy with the excellent service provided by Ocean Air. The installers were prompt, very courteous, and accommodative to the unexpected inconveniences. Highly recommend them.
