My handler fan motor went out just shy of 3 years. Called JB and he said it was covered by the warranty and all I had to pay was the labor. I texted him twice how much would the labor be? He never answered and his technician showed up the next morning @ 8 am instead of 9 . I wasn't even awake and forgot to ask about the cost. He installed the new motor in about 40 minutes then handed me a bill for $579. I was shocked. I didn't have that kind of money and clearly felt taken advantage of. They offered a 15 percent discount. I declined and he took the fan motor out. I said just leave the new motor and I paid him the $80 service call. Later on that day I realized he took the new one and left me with the broken one.. after 4 days of no air my sister referred me to an air conditioner company and they charged me $180. A whopping $400 difference. I texted JB l wanted my $80 back. No response.

My usual maintenance man checked and found more bad news.He recommended getting a new unit instead of putting money into an old one but, the job was to big for him. I called for estimates some showed up and one had me wait a 3 hour window I called and they said they'll be late, cancelled that one out. JB A/C arrived punctual, is very pleasant, knowledgeable and not pushy. I accepted his estimate which was reasonable compared to others. His workers pulled old unit from attic, installed new one in garage closet, cut out new return in wall, rerouted duct, electrical and drain in approx 7 hours. They are neat and thorough workers. The 4 ton American Standard (American made) John recommended is quieter like he said and even looks good :) I recommend J/B to anyone in need of A/C work.
I added a sunroom to my mobile home and needed A/C in the new room. JB suggested the Mitsubishi split unit for better cost and efficiency. The installers showed up on time, were very professional and amazingly pleasant. I highly recommend this company as they are now our go to for any A/C needs we have. Thank you for coming out quickly and getting our new sunroom cooled for us...

John and Kyle quickly set a date to replace our components without any interruption in our comfort. John and Kyle spent the better part of the day at our home. They were VERY professional, neat, clean, efficient, helpful and left a quality work product in their wake. The new system works like a champ and we are lucky we found John Browning Air Conditioning & Electrical. I would HIGHLY recommend this company, with pride, to anyone without hesitation. I do not often write reviews, but my great experience I had with JB's A/C warranted a review. We have rental property in So. FL. It is critical for us to have an A/C company we can depend on, that we can trust and who is prompt. JB's has demonstrated excellence in all these areas plus they are very knowledgeable and get the job done right. I felt comfortable having them on the job too because John and his technicians are great guys. We are not in FL year round so I have confidence if I am not in town & a tenant calls with an A/C problem I know JB's will take care of it. They have been fair and told me when I can repair a unit, or when I had a unit I would only have been throwing good money after bad that it was time to replace it. A great company that I would highly recommend to anyone!
