First, Luke's initial visit was to replace a 3 ton system that wasn't working well. The system was using a ton of energy (yes, I have an app for that) and I had more humidity in the house than I should. So after he talked me out of spending a small fortune installing for what I thought I wanted, a new shiny mini-split system with a hybrid of both vented and non vented ducts, he repaired the 3 ton 2 stage system I had already and it worked well. All for a trip charge and small job fee. I went several more months and the system was still using up a lot of energy, so I asked and Luke recommended a system more efficient and more reasonably priced than my "genius" idea. This was an inverter system. After installation and after monitoring the system for a little under a week, the system that used to use twice the amount of energy that the HVAC system on the other side of the house uses, it now uses half, effective cutting the energy use to a quarter (1/4) of what it was using. Luke and his team were punctual and installed the new system as quick as he could get the system from the COVID Distribution Logjam, and did it for less than several other companies that I bid the job to. Luke and his team installed the new unit, reducted my vents, and moved the air handler to a more convenient location all in a day of hard work on his and his team's part. Everyone needs to know trustworthy tradesmen to maintain their homes and their plans. I moved here 4 1/2 years ago and I can honestly say that Luke with Viking Air is now my trusted HVAC company!

My AC started icing up and making noise so I called Viking Air because they were the closest and had excellent online reviews. Luke (the owner) came out the next morning, checked my unit out, recharged it and checked it for leaks. It works great now and the price was more than fair!! He was honest and professional! They will definitely get my future HVAC business in Florida!

The voicemail I left was answered within 30 minutes, during which he provided transparency as to pricing and availability. Luke was able to fit me in the same day. He listened attentively as I'm explained the history of my HVAC system and how I tried to troubleshoot my problem. He asked thoughtful questions while quickly and efficiently checking the entire system for noticable issues. My issue turned out to be a small but difficult (in terms of locating) refrigerant leak. I was provided with two options at two different price levels, including pros and cons for each. In the end I took Luke's recommendation and feel great about it. My house is now cool and the whole process only took roughly 40 minutes.

In addition to the previous maintenance I entrusted to Viking, I had them come out to move my AC unit around the side of my house. This required them to drain the unit, move the unit and accompanying concrete hurricane pad, and relocate both the refrigerant piping and electrical shutoff switch that ran up the side of my house. Luke and his crew did another outstanding job at a fair price, cutting zero corners, and being professional and efficient in the Florida August sun. Highly, highly recommend using this company for all your HVAC needs.

Very professional and very knowledgeable. Unlike most AC companies he gives options other than needing a new unit. A friend of mine that moved out of state always did my AC so I know the parts aren't expensive like most companies charge. Viking Air is almost as good as having my friend back in town.
