As has always been the case, NCC was professional and informative during the visit, which was for an annual AC checkup. The technician was on time and focused. There was no attempt to upsell or upcharge anything. I recommend North County Cooling highly.

They came over to fix my ac but then told me they wouldn't fix a low coolant issue bc they gave me an estimate for install and I chose someone else w a better price. Now I have to take more time off work w another company bc they are sour about not getting install. Stupid company policy that just lost an investor customer that has used them on multiple homes in last year. Very immature, taking my ball n going home policy.

North County Cooling repaired a clogged drain line that was shutting down my A/C and charged less than one half of the next quote I received. I have never dealt with a company that has more integrity and a willingness to please.

Had NCC install a new package unit in 2020 which was a good experience. Have serviced it yearly and also have had a few service calls. Their team of techs perform solid work and are always on time and polite. NCC has a great team in place...locally owned. From the ladies in the office to the techs and owners a well thought out business plan! Thank you NCC for your devotion to your customers.

The A/C went out today (Dec 31) and the circuit breaker was making a noise. I was concerned about a fire hazard and called for service. 15 minutes later, Dan the tech arrived, identified the problem, and resolved the issue. He was extremely courteous and capable. Well done!

I was impressed and very happy with the service I received from North County Cooling from the moment Alyssa answered and scheduled my service call promptly, to Steve who diagnosed my bad condenser coil unit and didn’t try to up sell me a new air handler that he said I didn’t need yet, to Nick and Carlos installing the condenser the next day and fixed two problems with my original install from my the previous company I used many years ago, to finally Christina who handled payment and paperwork! All were very professional and very nice and a pleasure to deal with.

My sister also used NCC after my recommendation and was very happy with her service call and installation too.

It’s a relief to find an honest, reliable AC service company that I will continue to use and recommend.

I have been a customer of North County Cooling for over a decade. I found them thru my work & other satisfied customers. I have always been very satisfied with the service & quality provided by Pat and his team. I truly appreciate being able to count on their skill & integrity.

Pat and his crew of Anthony, Mike and several others did an exceptional job removing and replacing our existing AC and duct work. We run a building supply business and they replaced the complete system in our offices during business hours without a problem. They were very well coordinated and each guy knew his responsibility. I've asked Pat to come back to make some minor adjustments to balance the rooms and he had they guys back the next day. The system is quiet and comfortable. I highly recommend North county cooling.

Called few days ago due to my unit not keeping up with heat outside, they got me on the schedule within few days.
Steve came out patched an air leak, added some freon, cleaned the unit and it's keeping up with no issue.
He could've said I needed a new unit and I would've agreed as it's 12 years old but they didn't and I can't thank them enough for their honesty, when I do need the unit in few years I know who I'll be calling.
Thanks!

UPDATE: Ms. Igo, your reply rings extremely hollow, as it has been over a week since I called North County Cooling the first time and left a message. I then emailed and called a second time and left a message. To this day, no one from North County Cooling has deigned to pick up the phone and call me back. I've been a customer of North County Cooling (as tenant or owner) for years. You have my name, address, phone number and email on file. My phone number is the same one the North County Cooling technician called before he came into my home. If North County Cooling was truly interested in resolving the issue and not just saving face on a Google review, someone would have picked up the phone and called me back. It took me another company and more than $200 just to fix the issue that your technician caused and another $100+ to resolve the original problem.

I have used this company over the last 4-5 years (about half of that time as a renter, so not by choice). In that time, I have had MULTIPLE experiences where they were out to do routine maintenance or repair the unit, and the issue was not resolved the first time. And they charge for every visit, even if they need to come back. It should be noted that this unit is only three years old and North County Cooling is the company that installed it.

This latest experience really takes the cake. The unit was at least intermittently blowing cold air when the service technician arrived. Even when it wasn't blowing cold air, it was continuously blowing room temperature air. Minutes after the technician left, it was blowing warm air. I could feel the temperature rising and objectively observe it going up on the thermostat. I immediately called the technician back and his response was "it hasn't been more than 5 minutes since I left (it had been) and I was going in and out. Give it time." I explained that the issue was not that it wasn't cooling but that it was actively blowing hot air. Clearly interested in being done for the day, he hung up on me! I immediately called and emailed the company. It has been more than 24 hours since then and no one has acknowledged my issue.

When I arrived home from work today, I had the thermostat set at 79, and it was 82-83 degrees. The air handler was making ominous cracking noises. Unfortunately, the technician spent more time examining the other part of the unit where the condenser is because he didn't listen to me describe the problem. I would not be surprised if it costs me thousands of dollars for another company to repair the damage to a nearly-new unit.
