This company is by far the best when it comes to price, product & service. They have gone well above the call of duty to provide us with service and quality equipment. I highly recommend them for anyone looking to repair or replace their HVAC needs, I give them a 15 on the scale of 1-10 !!!

They have Excellent office staff and technicians. The technicians were very well mannered. I contacted them when my AC system was not working, they were out to my home within an hour and a half. The technician diagnosed the problem and the office ordered the parts that were needed. The office staff stayed in contact with me until parts arrived and sent technicians back out to my home to put the new parts in. Very fair priced. The office called me a week later to make sure everything went well and all problems were taken care of. Highly recommend Southern Aire.

Southern Aire was the company that Consulted, renovated and installed the heating/AC work of my Historic home.
Faced with an absolute mess, they designed a plan that allows my home to operate at peak efficiency. I recently called to move duct work to an addition. From my initial phone call to a very pleasant and efficient young lady (sorry, forgot her name) who asked for photos to show the workman, to Ryan who came out to look at the project to assure he would come
With what he needed, to Ryan’s return with a custom built duct box and a genius plan to make this addition work.
I highly recommend this family run and operated business. It’s been nearly 12 years of consistently great service!

Do NOT do business with this shady outfit.
I purchased a new Tempstar AC system for $6290 in August, 2016, and a second, smaller system for $5300 in June, 2017. They raved about Tempstar's 10 year warranty, but after it was installed, told me that I must pay to have a system checkup done every year in order to not void the warranty. The first annual inspection was included in the price, and then they charge around $89 per year after that.
The AC quit in one of the units this August, 2018. A repairman came out and in 10 minutes told me it needed a new motor. Only the part was covered under the warranty, not the labor. It wasn't on the truck so he came back the following day and replaced it in less than 30 minutes. I was told the labor was approximately $259 (approximately $74 for the first trip and $185 for the second). I immediately called to complain about this outrageous charge. The woman who answered the phone stated that the owner wasn't there, but that she would credit the labor for the first day. I agreed but stated that even $185 for less than 30 minutes of work was gouging - $370 per hour! I told her that I was done with Southern Aire. I received the invoice for $185 and it was immediately paid.
On November 20, 2018, I decided to clean my air filters (they are not the disposable type). The first one was no problem, but the little access panel on the second one was sealed shut with clear silicone. This needs to come off in order to remove the filter for maintenance. I used a little hook tool to free it from the silicone and removed it, and lo and behold, there was no filter even installed! I immediately called Southern Aire, explained the situation, but the man that I was speaking to basically said that he wasn't involved in any of the installation and that I owed them $185 from last August. I was in my garage at the time and not remembering the figures, told him that any balance that he might show was supposed to be credited back in August. He disagreed and would not discuss my missing air filter. I went inside and checked my records and saw that my $185 check had cleared last August. I called back, passed this on to a woman that answered the phone and was told that I now owed a different amount (I think she said $74, which was the amount that was supposed to be credited) and hung up on me. Of course, if they really felt that I owed something, then why over the past 3 months did they never send me a bill, call me, email or text me?
How can they explain never having installed an air filter on a brand new AC unit? Why on earth would they silicone seal shut the access panel? How could this situation have escaped their first year inspection, which was done on 5/30/18?
Beware, this company is a total scam and a total joke!
