We had them come out for a repair while we were out of town. We spoke with them and they said our thermostat was broken and wanted to charge us over $300 for a new one.
We negotiated to $200 + they had us over a barrel since we needed the ac fixed for the poor friends house sitting for us. On return we found they put a $14.00 thermostat no programmable in place of our more expensive 7 day programmable. They were unwilling to come back and at least swap out
For a better thermostat. What a rip off.
So not use them you should get what you pay for and I paid over 300.00 for service and a crappy thermostat that I had to have changed on return.

Where do I begin!!!! The supervisor is an air head! The call scheduling lady is always cracking up! No manners what so ever. They have updated fancy vehicles but they write everything on paper. They charged me $184.48 to come out and give me an estimate.... I verified on the phone that an estimate will cost $80 but they rip you off by saying you need to defrost your unit. I would need a defrost if work would need to be done. Before 24 HR I had cool air come out and they charged $69 without defrosting told me everything I need done. I left with an estimate and knew what I was looking at. The only reason two stars is because the technician was great. But the supervisor I hung up on her after she gave me attitude for asking about the defrosting fee.save your money, after using 24 HR I did not have an estimate.

On 07/25/17 I contacted 24hour Air Service Requesting an emergency repair service for my A/C that suddenly stopped cooling. I specifically asked if they could send a technician asap since my kid, who suffers a bad respiratory allergy, was having difficulty to breath in an 85 degrees home. The technician arrived around 9:00pm and after 15 min or so issued a receipt and requested payment of $378.51 for the repair (Initially they told me the service will be around $200). He charged my debit card and left. I waited the A/C to start cooling, but the vents never blew other than hot air. The next day I emailed the company to ask for the refund since the service did not confirm to the standards promised, and I had to pay another emergency repair service company that replaced two broken pieces and fixed the A/C. The company refused to issue the refund.

I am disappointed my air needed a maintenance because it was not cooling properly. The tech came to fix it and cleaned it out I was under the impression that the tech assessed the problem and took care of it . I was charged 378.00 that was on the weekend .The following weekend the air was not cooling and by that time my air had frozen another tech came was unable to do anything . Then the next day the tech came again and indicated that the air needed to be cleaned inside and that it would cost 563.00 . When the tech had previously came I thought he cleaned inside an took care of the problem . The tech indicated that the air coils were not as dirty as they were the previous week. Regardless of that the air problem wasn't assessed properly and now 24 hour air wanted to charge me 563.00 to do what I thought they did in the first place . I asked the Tech if had checked the unit outside he said no because it was raining . I am disappointed because I spent almost 400 and the problem wasn't detected the first visit . , and then I would of had to pay another 563.00 to fix the same problem in the first place . Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!! and when i declined after I signed the work order ( He stated I didn't have to pay anything) the tech came back knocked on my door asking me to pay a trip charge of 75.00 I did not pay . Although the tech was nice the problem could of been taken care of rather than me having to pay almost 900 for a maintenance cleaning ! Thankfully I didn't spend 563.00 .

I am very satisfied with 24 Hour Air Service Inc. They were very professional and showed up the same day I called to fix my AC which surprised me because it was late in the day. The air conditioning was repaired successfully and now I am happy to report that my AC is working as good as new. They gave me a few tips on how to properly maintain it moving forward so that I can save on future maintenance and repairs. Overall I am a happy customer and will call them again in the future if I have any trouble with my air conditioning.

I have been using "24 Hour Air Service, Inc." for about 4 or 5 years when we have an emergency problem. It was extremely hot and the air conditioner went out. We looked them up called and came within an hour. It took about three well worth it hours (and that's assessing the problem, getting the needed part and fixing the unit)to have our house feeling livable again. The techicians that come to your how are knowledgeable, friendly and informative as is the office personnel. Have been with "24 Hour Air Service"ever since.

Our air conditioner stopped working after a power outage; we called this company because our power came on late in the afternoon and they offered 24 hour service. They arrived three hours later. So far, so good. The tech worked on our a/c until past 11pm. Concluded that although he was not sure what was wrong, he was pretty sure the circuit board and fan motor needed to be replaced. He spent the evening calling his supervisor--apparently for help with our a/c. Once he was done, he quoted us $1200. He proceeded to remove the fan and board from our a/c and said he needed to take the parts with him to find replacement parts. He would be back tomorrow morning to install the new parts. We figured this is standard operating procedure.

No one came out the next day until 5pm. A different technician than the one who came the night before was sent. He was unable to do any work on our unit because he did not understand what the previous technician had done. He waited all night at our house with no a/c waiting for his supervisor to come out and help him finish the job.

Supervisor arrived after 9pm. They began work. Upon completion--several hours later--they stated that the part they installed was defective and they would have to come back in the morning to replace it.

The next morning my husband and I called the company and asked to speak to a supervisor. We were told that a supervisor would call us back. We called 5 times and have still not received a call-back from anyone at the company.

At 3pm the technician from the first night came and got our a/c working but that our thermostat was defective and needed to be replaced. We explained that our thermostat has been newly installed by AT&T and it is still under warranty. Under no circumstances was he to touch it. Later he apologized and said it simply needed to be reset.

While we have had a working a/c for all of 3 hours today, we are upset that no one from management called us back, and we were not offered a discount even though the "emergency visit" was not resolved for another 2.5 days. The technician said we agreed to the rate on the first night and that was what we had to pay.

Do not use this company to service your a/c. Customer service, timeliness, courtesy, and accountability are not qualities belonging to this company.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I called the company because my air was not working. They sent a guy who was only working with the company 3 months. He has not idea what he was doing. He lied and said he checked the coils and he didn't. He said I needed a leak detection and stop leak for a total of $300. I did not pay this as I knew this was not the case. He than said I needed gas. He proceeded to put 4 pounds of gas in my AC. $320 I paid for this. Next day still not air. They sent another guy out the next day. He still didn't check the coils. He said I need to replace the entire unit. This just didn't feel right to me. a 6 year old AC. Called another company. They were great. This time the coils were check and were very dirty. Did even charge me the service call fee as they felt bad that I just paid $320 and was never told this. Although they were not able to do the work, I paid a sub-contractor to clean it for me. $200. We spent 3 hours in the attic doing the work. After, the air was no longer restricted. Before, the subcontractor cleaned the coils, he told me he thinks the system is overcharged with gas. But he still cleaned the coils and the air started to blow better but not cold. So now I am upset and decided to just get a quote on a new one. Another company came out and give me the quote but said wow, let me check something for you. The guy hooked up his tools to the outside AC and said, your AC is overcharge, and this maybe the reason why its not blowing cold air. ummmm....I called the other guy back who cleaned the coils. He let out almost 2 pounds of gas. And said I bet you your AC will work better now. I just check my AC this morning and we are at 75 in the house. STAY AWAY FROM 24 HOUR AIR. THEY WLL RIP YOU OFF . Charge me for gas I didn't need. Even the lady on the phone told me the guy they sent out was new on the job. I had two companies tell me my system was overcharged and the service manager I spoke too didnt want to take responsibility for his worker. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!! $320 GONE

This company was called out for a leaky valve which was fixed in 15 minutes of arrival (late arrival) with a little teflon tape and pipe glue. Charged $470 plus tax. Anyone on earth knows that is unreasonable! When contacting office, they don't charge by the hour, they charge by the job. What a scam! Stay away from using 24 HR Service Inc unless you don't mind surprise huge bill!

Absolutely the worst a/c company in Sourh Florida.
Zero customer service, never show up when they say and everyday was a different team with a supervisor who never spoke a word. Our job was a commercial job that they bid and was simple but they over did it and what should have been done in a week became three months. Then at end they hit us with a bill that was way over what was agreed without ever discussing it during the horrific delay. We deal with a lot of contractors and I can honestly say we never had a worse experience than these guys.
