    I wish I could give Leo a million stars. He was truly a lifesaver after my a/c compression thingy died on The day before a holiday. I called about 10 different companies and He was the only one willing to come out on short notice and not charge me a ridiculous service Call fee. He showed up in a reasonable amount of time, he was very professional and super super fast. Do yourself a favor and give this guy a call!!! You won't be sorry :-)

    My air conditioning has been leaking for days and I called Leo and on the same day he came out. He was very upfront with his pricing and gave me a quote that was affordable. He even showed my husband what he can due for future maintenance. He is very professional and friendly and I definitely would recommend this company!     Extremely grateful for LEO who came out on a Sunday on Labor Day weekend a few days prior to a hurricane and fixed our ac and gave us back our cold air very quickly! Very nice guy and very knowledgeable. Thank you so much Leo! Very grateful.

    Leo was quick to respond and came out within a reasonable timeframe. When he arrived, he fixed our AC problem and taught us how to care for it in case the problem occurred again. Would definitely recommend and use Leo again in the future!

    Great service. Our AC was not working for a few days as other technicians said that our compressor was not working and we had to buy a new one. When I contacted Leo, he promptly responded and he was able to find out our compressor still had a warranty. The next day our AC was back on, he was great rates and is a very polite person. I highly recommend!

    I had another company fix my AC and they had to come several times the same week and my AC was still not cooling. I found AC HOME LLC and Leo came over in less than 2 hours and fixed the problem in less than 30 mins (when the other company took days with no positive results). Leo was very nice and honest and he took the time to explain the issue and how to prevent it in the future. I am truly happy to have found this company for all my AC needs. Highly recommended!!

    Happened to notice my AC unit was leaking last night (Sunday evening), Googled AC specialist near me and AC Home popped up. Had a response almost 10 minutes after sending a request! Leo was prompt and the technician Johnny arrived within the window given. Diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it in 20 minutes. Worth every penny. Thanks again guys!

    Leo is a beast, works hard, fast and very professional. Prices are affordable. Came one afternoon-night saw what was wrong and next day I have everything fix and my house nice and cool... if I ever need my A/C checked I will definitely call him again.

    Had an issue with my AC so I called, Leo, my unit would shut off intermittently then won’t turn ON. Unfortunately when Leo showed up, the unit was working perfectly. As per his diagnosis, he couldn’t find anything wrong with it but charged for the visit and off he went. The same week problem came back, called him again but since it was weekend he charged me xtra. Came home, couldn’t find problem then left. Now the
    unit shuts down 3 to 4 times a day. I have called him several times but he doesn’t answer to me anymore. I guess this is the one AC he doesn’t know how to fix.

    I really don’t want to give a bad review because I really like Leo and I have been a loyal customer for years, since near the beginning and recommending the company at every given opportunity. I am glad he is achieving success, but ultimately I am disappointed.

    I’ve never had anything bad to say about AC home. Leo actually came to inspect the ac unit of a house I was looking to buy and didn’t charge me! I thought I had an AC tech for life.

    Back in the day Leo’s prices were competitive, he was honest and hard working. He was driven to see his venture succeed. I feel that that’s what brought all his success and now that he is more established and in demand, I feel that he’s had to raise his prices in order to capitalize on that and be more in line with the competition.

    It’s unfortunate it has to be this way, but when replacement parts are marked up over 100% on retail, I feel it’s a disservice to the customer and kind of dishonest. The service charge should be what covers costs and ok, there are overheads associated with sourcing replacement parts too- but $160 on a $40 (or less) part? I don’t think so.

    I’ve recently had to have a capacitor replaced and then a contactor. Two separate call outs, a month apart. A service fee of $60 each time, fair enough. His tech was in and out within 30 minutes each time. After the visits I googled the cost of replacement parts, about $20 each I sourced. Even at $40, $50, to charge the customer $160 for the part is not a customer-oriented practice in my opinion. And this is what I always associated AC Home- to be honest and care about their customers.

    So over the two visits, a total of about an hour, I was charged $468. I could get the parts myself for about $70 at most, that leaves $398 for an hours work to cover all the overheads (associated with the jobs) and pay the technician for his time (one hour). That’s not very transparent to the customer.

    Leo prides himself on being honest and not like some companies out there that charge for unnecessary repairs. Great. But you should be comparing yourself with the best in the field, not the worst. Your argument for overcharging customers should not be, “but at least I’m not charging you for unnecessary repairs”. That should be a given!

    I would still recommend Leo and AC home for good and honest work and if you’re not averse to paying over-the-odds, they do great work. But unfortunately I am more cost-conscious and especially having to pay out several thousands of dollars on various things over the last month - and more to come - I can’t afford to pay over the odds.

    Unfortunately, I feel I’ll have to search for another AC tech going forward. Maybe another “up and coming” hungry AC tech exists; what Leo and AC Home used to be.
