Second time we've called this company. In both cases, they arrived as promised. This time, they delivered a diagnosis that wasn't good news, but so had another company. Coastal had a next day solution. We are cool again, and that is all that matters!

On the hottest week of the year, our AC stopped working. Coastal was able to get out same day. Although our repair took a couple visits, Coastal was wonderful with communication and the owner, Melissa, was so friendly and helpful. We have used other local companies in the past and felt like they were overpriced and dishonest. It is refreshing to see that there are still honest business who still care. We look forward to working with Coastal again if we need a repair or upgrade!

Coastal really is the best company and nicest staff of people in the area, and I've tried several in my 35 years in this house. They were great at helping my daughter with a problem created by another company, and today they really saved me from this awful heat. From the time my system quit working they were here in less than an hour. I wouldn't count on that every time, but I think Melissa really understood that I'm elderly and not that well, so she sent someone right away. The tech did an awesome job of quickly and skillfully getting my house cool again. Most importantly, they're honest and have reasonable prices! I wouldn't call anyone else now that I've found them!

Updated review: The owner, Melissa, made sure to give me a full refund and assured me that this is not how they run business and I believe her. She was very apologetic and professional. A bad egg shouldn’t ruin the entire batch because the owner is golden. I will give them another chance in the future.
Previous review:
Called for a diagnosis due to AC dripping, was told nothing was wrong by the repair man and was ready to pay $79 diagnosis fee but was handed a paper that said $178 was very confused. Was told I had my ac pipe drained AFTER it was done. I said “why didn’t you ask?” The repair said “it needed to be done, so I went ahead and did it.” I said “but you’re charging me an extra $99 for this that I wasn’t prepared to pay for. I didn’t give permission. He said “it’s too late now. It’s already done, you have to pay. I don’t need your permission.” I was confused and upset and just paid for it. They hustled an extra Benjamin out of me but lost my business for the long run. I will never use this company again.

After my regular. A/C repair person passed away, I had no one to call. My 3 year old unit went out during a typical heatwave and no one could get the part I needed. I called Melissa and through some research, she found one in South Florida. They had it in and running in a few days. Because of her extra effort, I am cool again. Her technician, Vern, was very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend them.

Melissa gave the most excellent communication, coordination, and customer service when our A/C went out in the hottest time of the year. The technician was there within a few hours and I was so pleased with their proactive communication to let me know when he was on the way and what was needed to repair our unit. (Also, I called Donovan A/C too, but was so turned off by their customer service and annoyance at my call.) I highly recommend Coastal!

Just had an amazing experience with Coastal Heating and Air!! Vernon and his assistant, Vernon, (yes they had the same name lol) were so friendly, informative, up front with pricing, and kind. They answered all the questions I had and explained each step of the process as they were diagnosing our thermostat issue. They worked quickly and had our AC up and running super fast! On top of that, they gave us some maintenance tips to help us be proactive with keeping our system the best it can be.
We hope we don’t run into any future AC issues, but if we do, Coastal will definitely have our business!!

Right from the beginning I knew Coastal Heating and Cooling was the right choice for my new AC. Melissa explained all the choices and what would work best for my house. She made me few informed but also didn't try to sell me something I didn't need, which I loved. Will and Mike arrived at the scheduled time and went straight to work. They were professional, clean and trustworthy. I was amazed that only after 3 1/2 hours they were completely done and I was set with a brand new indoor and outdoor unit. I was expecting it to take up to 6 hours. I would definitely recommend Coastal Heating and Cooling to everyone. This business is run my fair, honest and hard working people.

We cannot say enough positives about this company! From Melissa who takes the calls, to Vern, our HVAC go-to guy, this company is First Class! The previous homeowners used Coastal and we called them when we moved in for HVAC maintenance. Vern came out within 3 hours, serviced the HVAC and gave us a tutorial on maintaining the units. Recently, our AC went out and the capacitor needed replacement. Since it had been replaced previously by the former owners, it was under warranty and there was no charge for the call! How awesome! What an upright company! Call them! You won't be disappointed! GREAT COMPANY!

Coastal Heating and Cooling is the way to go. Our AC kept freezing up and not cooling our home. I was given excellent customer service over the phone with a fast response time for the same day. The tech, Will was friendly and knowledgeable. The price was good. Our AC was up and running quickly which is a must in this Florida heat. They are a trustworthy company and I would use them and recommend them in a heartbeat.
