We called around and Proserv offered us the best price. The staff was really friendly over the phone and the all know what they are doing. The install guys were friendly, hard working and very clean. They took time to make sure our place was as clean as when they arrived. We couldn't be happier with everyone there.
Very happy with the installation of my two home central AC units. Very professional job. Things were done right from the beginning. No price quotes over the phone, Jesus the manager, came to my home and gave me a fair price for the job, with city permits.
My Air conditioner went out today and my house was unbearably hot and humid. I have a 4 week old daughter in my home so you can only imagine the panic I was in. I called Proserv and spoke with the office staff which were very understanding and were able to send someone out within 2 hours!! Turns out I had a bad contactor. There service technician had one on him and was able to get my system up and running in one visit! I will definitely use them again and refer them! They’re quickness, professionalism and compassion is amazing! They even called me an hour later to make sure everything was still running smoothly! They truly care about their customers!
This company was great. The technician arrived on time for the appointment. He was certeous and kept me informed of what he was doing. He recommended cleaning options but did not try to push me to the more expensive option. Once completed he showed me his work. I recommend this company for your a/c service needs. Thomas Paul
Got a Rheem model from them exactly 1 year ago. Few weeks back the AC stopped working. Called Proserv - they sent a technician. The technician quickly says "motor isn't working". We pay for a new motor, comes to fix it and same thing. So now he says " thermostat isint working". Unbelievable. Cant take the old motor now because he needs to take it back to Rheem so they get the credit for it. We still had warranty - so parts were covered but not labor. They say labor is $450! What a joke company! Avoid!
We just moved to Coconut Creek and while I was changing the AC filter, noticed the air duct was really dirty so I figured I would call someone to come clean them all. I had no idea where to start so when I saw Proserv's ad in one of those local deal mags, I figured I would give them a call.
Andrea was very knowledgeable and friendly over the phone. A week later, Javier and Gabriel called to let me know they were on their way. I really liked getting the call first. They spent HOURS cleaning all the vents and from the looks of them, I don't think they were cleaned in a very long time. Javier brought to our attention an issue behind the dryer that we weren't aware of- a real fire hazard- and for that, we are very grateful.
We opted to also get the 24 point AC tune-up as well and the tech for that, Damien, was amazing! I had been complaining to my husband that I couldn't really feel the cool air blowing and we were hoping after a good cleaning, that would improve and it has!! I can tell a difference compared to how it was before. Damien really knows his stuff! It turns out that every time the air kicks on it was drawing 100amps from the main circuit board at the tune of possibly an extra $50 a month in power. Damien put in a capacitor for us. I can't wait to get the next power bill to see if there is a difference.
We plan on using Proserv for all our heating and air needs in the future and highly recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC services.
Very disappointed with this company. I called them to check my HVAC unit. The guy came almost two hours later He didn't call me and went straight to the roof. After he opened the unit, he called me and told me that I need to replace a connector/relay, wire, and also they recommended to replace the capacitor. All together $490.
I asked if the capacitor doesn't need to be replaced I will go with the first option, only replacing the wire and connector. The guy replaced connector in front of me (I kept the original connector). I didn't see him replacing any wires. He charged me $280. I spoke to the manager and I was told they gave me a good rate and he replaced the wire before calling me. Usually, I was told they charge for a ladder $89.
Long story short, to my surprise, when I got home and tested the old connector with a multimeter it was in working order. Both coil resistance and connectors work well. The conclusion, they probably replaced the faulty wire and replaced the old working connector with a new one for $280. I wouldn't trust this company. Such a rip-off.
Jesus' sales representative from Proserv America Air & Heat quoted me an American Standard unit, which could not be installed in my house because Jesus made a mistake when measuring the space designated for the AC unit. Immediately afterward, I asked Jesus to return the money I had paid in advance for the installation. Days later, when I tried to make contact with Jesus to request the installation of a new AC unit according to the size of the available space (Reehm 16 seers) this was his answer: "Good morning William. I spoke with one of the owners in regard to your call of wanting to install the air conditioner after we gave your deposit back. Unfortunately, once we give a customer their deposit back, we don't take another deposit. Thank you and have a nice day. " I really don't understand Proserv America's customer service policies since no manager has called me to clarify the situation so far. What kind of company allows employees like Jesus to damage its reputation? Or is it that Proserv America managers do not follow up on work orders to evaluate the quality of service provided by their employees or simply are not interested in customer satisfaction?
ProServ America gave me a price over the phone then they came to my house it was the same price including the installation and permits. The installation was done right away all permits. The installers were very nice and professional I am very happy with this company and would recommend them to my friends and family.
My AC stopped working last week and I received a magazine advertising Proserv America. They came immediately to give me an estimate with all the information about the replacement. I decided to move forward with them, very professional and courteous. Highly recommended.
