Had a problem with previous units. They weren’t installed right and warranty was never registered. Way too big for our home. never worked right company said they did the best they could. Left me hanging $7000 later. Discount Air Conditioning came out right away. Give me a very good price. Replace them with the right size units. Very professional, super to work with. Would recommend this company. Very satisfied! By the way, wouldn’t recommend FREE AC in Bradenton to anybody.

I can’t say enough good about this team. They’re responsive, caring, and flexible. We purchased a home without realizing how much HVAC work was needed.

Our tech came out and didn’t try to sell us on a new unit or anything we didn’t need. I’d recommend Discount AC to anyone/everyone!

As seniors we felt especially safe and educated on our Air Conditioner. He took the time to explain what he was checking for and what we can do to keep our unit in good shape.

It’s not easy to know who to call when your AC stops working, but I’m glad I tried Discount Air Conditioning. The owner, Ras, came out to diagnose my non- working AC unit at my vacant rental property today. He was able to fit me in quickly, and was great with communication before and during my service call. He was able to figure out the issue within about 5 minutes of arriving. He was thorough, explaining everything as he worked. I was extremely happy with his service and pricing. He was friendly, professional and quick with the repair needed. I will definitely call him in the future and recommend this company to others looking for an honest and affordable AC company. And, I also liked that this was a small business not a large corporate chain. Ras seems to care about his customers and gives great service! Thank you Ras!

Our A/C unit stopped working and I called the owner, Ras, and he came out in a little over an hour after hours and fixed the unit very quickly. He was very efficient and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone

I have trust issues with service people and have felt screwed over by previous AC companies, including one that I used to have do my maintenance checks. Their tech was always trying to sell me a new unit on each visit, even though I told him over and over that I was renovating the home to sell it within a year.
Fast forward to this past week when I got there and the temp was 87 degrees inside... I had been told previously that the fan motor was going bad, it was getting stiff and harder to turn, and that was indeed the problem. Since that discussion I had asked at AC companies that I serve as a vendor about buying a motor from them but was declined because I wasn't a contractor.
On Thursday when I realized that the motor was basically dead, I frantically called around for quotes and happened to call Ras. Telling him the story about the motor dying and attempts to purchase one, rather than give the roundabout price that I asked for he proceeded to tell me about several places that I could go and purchase a motor over the counter for self-install the next day. He could have very well given me a price and set up a day to install it but chose to take a better road.
The bottom line is that Ras was honest and extremely helpful while giving up potential income so that I could get my AC system back up and running asap. Ras's information saved me hundreds of dollars versus the quote from my current AC company, or should I say ex-AC company. ;)
And on top of that I called him the next day, after installing the new motor. I wanted to thank him again and offered to send him a gift card so that he could have lunch or dinner on me some day in the future. He surprised me again by saying that he "loved that he could help me" and he'd appreciate the experience being posted here more than any monetary gift.
Ras, I thank you again! And you sir are my new AC guy!

The folks at Discount A/C are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The maintenance technician, Houston, was very thorough. Taking his time to make sure my A/C was properly maintained; enabling it to, hopefully, do the job for many years.

A restful night of sleep before a two week trip to Japan was permanently altered after my air conditioner quit work cooling. Although excited about the trip, my mind kept shifting to no air and returning to a hot house. My son called a high school buddy trained in HVAC working for Discount Air and an appointment was set up that day to check out the old exterior unit; the owner, Raz, called me (convenient to my time in Japan) to explain their findings. A quick e-signature, and within two days I had a new AC unit installed while I was in Japan. Having the dependability of a neighbor, a great friend, and son to be “on-call“ for the few and quick times needed was a godsend.

I am extremely grateful to Raz, Houston, and Discount Air for going over and above to earn my trust in business, and I got a new AC install fast! Check them out!!!
