I wish I had read these reviews BEFORE they came. They were referred by Forbes Premium Fuel. I asked them to check the zoning valve in addition to the furnace cleaning. They kept changing their price and adding on other charges, like an $8 fuel surcharge that they DID NOT inform me about before they came. He said he was going to charge me for 15 minutes of diagnosis for the zoning valve, which I ACTUALLY TOLD HIM THAT'S WHAT IT NEEDED WHEN HE CAME. He later tried to change the "diagnosis" charge to 45 minutes. He had the bill with the zoning valve up around $600 and changing. I had him call the owner, who agreed to go back to a 15 minute charge. First he said the charge was $37.50, then $39.50. They later took off the $8 surcharge. This mechanic was way too shifty for me. They also presented me with a laundry list of repairs I need totaling about $1500, like a water valve leaking - except he can't only change that part, he has to change "all the components," with a parts price of $800, who knows what the labor would be. Left me really upset and feeling far worse than I was before they came. I will not use them again. They really take advantage of you, no integrity here.

Stay far away from this company. The owner of the company actually worked on our furnace and messed up the wiring and then blamed in on mice. It was working fine for the past 12 years without issue until the day after he touched it. 4 visits and almost $2k in repair costs and still they couldn't fix the issue. I had to call an electrician to run new wiring and then I gave up on this company and called another company who got the job done. They are belligerent and nasty people to get involved with. The owner's small black heart finally gave out after screwing over countless customers....he is still weak and in recovery. That was another excuse they used for why they couldn't get the job done.

New customer without a contract and they came out same day to look at my furnace. A competitor wasn’t able to come out until 3 days later so of course I chose Around the Clock. Maryellen, the office manager, was fantastic as well as the service person, Antonio. Mary Ellen was super kind and showed she really cares about the company’s customers. Antonio was very professional as well. He took the time to explain what was going on with my furnace and how he would fix it. I will be signing up for a contract and only be using them in the future. Great customer service and work. Highly recommend.

Around the clock called me back right way and came out just 2 hours later. Our technician was Rob and he was incredible. He went through our entire oil furnace and immediately found several issues that caused our system to fail. Everything is running great now. Prices were very fair for the amount of work he had to do. Happy to have found this company. Highly recommend them to anyone.

Cannot say enough good things about this company. They truly are “around the clock” as they worked tirelessly at my home late hours into the evening to make sure I had heat and hot water. Extremely knowledgeable in the field- I feel safe knowing I had their expertise guiding and recommending what to buy and what to do. It was a difficult job as our old, outdated system needed to be replaced but to install a new one wouldn’t quite fit. Other companies would have squeezed a model in that wouldn’t be safe or efficient. They worked hard to make sure it fits SAFELY with proper ventilation, proper access to get to it for servicing in the future, and that we could get a model that would last my family years. That was no easy task. Professional, reliable, experts in the field- if you’re in CT, do not use any other company!! Thank you, Johnny, Andrew, Robert and the rest of the ATC team!

We needed to have our R-22 HVAC system replaced. It wasn't very old (15 years) but was leaking R-22 which is no longer legal to use. Plus the system we had was not sufficient for a 3,000 sq ft house. This is for a spec/custom (mostly spec) house built in 2004.
John from Around the Clock adequately sized a new system and his team did a professional and competent installation of a new Heil/Goodman system. We got the 16 SEER high efficiency upgrade that will pay for itself in a couple of years.
Our house is finally properly cooled in hot weather, with no more icing evaporator coils with system shutdowns and puddles in the basement.
I was expecting this to cost more, but my other quotes were informal. Around the Clock came recommended by a close friend who did do the research. Given what I know now, even if Around the Clock was a little more expensive, I would pay more for the quality of service. Everything associated with the HVAC system itself was replaced, including condensation pump.
Covid precautions were competently observed.
I highly recommend.
