Had a wonderful experience with L&L particularly with their service tech Dan Jones. Our AC went out Thursday night. Friday we call multiple HVAC companies and most wouldn't have a tech available till Monday late afternoon or even longer than that. Got ahold of L&L around 1700 on Friday and they said they would have a tech out Saturday between 0800-1000. Dan called us when he was on his way and let us know there was a lot of traffic on the 470 but he would get to our house as soon as he could. Once he arrived he took a look at the thermostat and then headed outside to the unit. Once outside he explained what he was doing and provided me with a lot of info about AC units which I really appreciated. He diagnosed and found the problem right away. Once he replaced the capacitor the unit kicked right on and started blowing cold air again. Never once did he try to up sell any extra parts or use any scare tactics trying to get us to buy a new unit. Dan was very upfront and honest with us and had our best interest in mind. I would defiantly recommend Dan to any of my friends and family, and because of his excellent service he has earned our trust and we will defiantly contract L&L and request Dan for any of our future HVAC needs.

Great TEAM. Repeat customer, always professional and courteous. I always call them first. But since they do quality work, it's not that often I need to call.

Great company. Jeff has been amazing. We have a boiler with radiant heating. New to us. We know nothing about us. He has worked with this troublesome boiler to get it going during the cold. He has come back several times at no charge to figure out it's problem.

How long can my review be? I have SO much to say..... such positive things!! I had the pleasure of having Chris at my home today who was early for our appointment.... let me say that again: EARLY!! He came in and quickly got to work. He used verification measures to access my A/C. My suspicion was that it needed to be cleaned and it also needed more freon. Using a thermometer inside my home and some gauges outside Chris quickly told me my A/C unit needs more freon. He quoted me the very reasonable cost for freon and cleaning the system ($220). I also wanted a REMO HALO in-duct air purifier. Chris installed it in 30 minutes and there was no mess and no issue with installation.

I''d like to say that calling L&L was the best idea.... I'm so glad I listened to my gut instinct. I had another local company out last week (Emporia) who told me my unit is too old (average life span on an A/C unit is 15-20 years; mine is 11yrs) and offered me two options: 1) $830 to clean it OR 2) $4100 for a new unit. This man didn't use any verification to test my system..... he literally used no tools or any form of verification to access my system. WHAT???!!! How do these people put their head on the pillow at night? They are dishonest.

Chris is honest and very thorough in his work. My house was SO COLD by the time he left. He kept checking his work and making sure my system was responding to the added freon instead of just jumping in his van and off he went. I had to turn the A/C off after he left..... it was so cold! Nice work Chris : )

Please support this small company. They provide honest work.

I was on need of a AC system for my new home as the builder unit was over priced and wanted to spend that $ elsewhere on the home. Had my new system installed yesterday and for what they offer as far as equipment warranty and service plans it is perfect. Great in the field reps and service technicians at your home. Install was not intrusive and we're done and out faster then I expected and was able to answer questions that I had. The Amman unit is ultra quiet so won't disrupt anything.

Fantastic service! I had an air conditioner error light come on. L and L had done the installation of a humidifier a few months earlier. I thought the error light might be due to work that was done. (It was NOT)

I called them at 3 pm and was told that a tech would be out today. I even received a separate phone call from the owner and he told me that they would take care of it.

The tech call a couple of times throughout the afternoon/evening, giving me an update, of his ETA., at 8 30 he arrived. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem. It was due to a chafed wire hidden behind a bundle of other wires, that was far from apparrant. The problem was caused by faulty installation of the air conditioner unit, a few years ago, NOT the work done by L and L. Fortunately, L&L was able to fix another company's mistake.

None the less, I was greatly impressed, with the communication, the service, and the expertise of their employees.

To top it off, I was only charged a service call, not an after-hours charge, despite it being 8:30 at night.

UPDATE: 7/23/15. over this past weekend, the capacitor burned out on the compressor. I phoned L&L on a Saturday afternoon, Dylan was able to come out at 5 o'clock despite it being a Saturday. since the weather was 97 degrees outside, if we really needed air conditioning.

he didn't have a capacitor for our unit, but was able to run two similar units in series, to tie us over until Monday.

thanks to Dylan, we were able to stay nice and cool despite the hottest day of the year thus far.

This is very good company with a very strong business ethic. They are representative of what a service company should be and what the good ones used to be. The tech, Jordan, was extremely punctual, respectful, and knowledgeable. Good guy! The customer experience was 5-star all the way! Thank you, L&L.

I chose this company to fix a broken humidifier because of their high ratings on Google and Yelp. I originally called on a Thursday and scheduled a Friday appointment between 3:30-4:30PM. They did not show up in this timeframe. I ended up calling them after 5PM to see if they were still planning to come and had to speak with their after-hours answering service. The answering service apologized and said they'd forward my message to the on-call tech (Terry) who would call me back inside of ten minutes. In the next hour, I received three calls back from the answering service asking if I'd yet received word from Terry. I advised that I hadn't, and he finally called around 6:30 to say that he didn't have the parts needed for the repair so he asked if we could reschedule to Saturday morning between 10:00 and 10:30. I accepted the appointment.

Saturday morning was a repeat of Friday night. I heard nothing from Terry so I decided to call back to the cell he called me from on Friday night and asked if he was still coming. He said "Not at this point, no." He asked to again reschedule to Monday and I declined as I will look elsewhere to a company that will actually show up when they are scheduled.

I can understand missing an appointment window, but it should be routine to call and let the customer know you aren't going to make it. In both cases, I had to call to find anything out. I'd recommend staying away from this company if you value your time.

Very friendly staff, very responsive and on time. Technician did not try to oversell me and repaired my furnace quickly.
