303 Heat will be my go to company and who I will recommend to friends for AC issues and service. They were able to get me an immediate appointment when my AC was not cooling my home. Roberto arrived on time and was very knowledgable and professional. He did a thorough check of everything explaining what he was doing as he went along. He then went over what the possible issues could be and what I really appreciated was that he did not jump to resolving the problem with the most expensive option. Roberto had my system up and cooling quickly and left everything clean and tidy. Thank you 303 Heat and Roberto!!

303 Heat is a lifesaver. Our AC went out in the middle of a heat wave (on my wife’s birthday). April managed to squeeze me in that day, due to an unexpected opening in Jared’s schedule, and she helped diagnose the problem (low refrigerant) over the phone. Jared was very knowledgable, courteous, and professional and had our AC up and running again—better than it ever has—within hours of my call. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Jared was out recently to check our A/C system to get it ready for the Summer. We purchased a new furnace and A/C unit from 303 Heat in 2020. Jared checks the furnace in the fall and the A/C unit in the Spring to make sure everything is operationally ready. Jared and April are a pleasure to work with, they believe in customer service which is a refreshing change in today's shopping climate. Give 303 Heat a chance, you won't be disappointed, I know we weren't.

Prior to making such a big financial decision, Jared met with me at my home and then took a few follow up calls running through all of my different options. Short version: Avoid 303 Heat. Gave us great repair service, but used it to sell us on a huge install that was disastrous. As everything went wrong, the technician in our home refused to communicate changes. The business owner issued veiled threats and refused to make it right. AVOID.

Longer version: We experienced an AC failure after several power outages. We called over a dozen places and 303 was the only place that would come out within 24 hours. Truthfully, the technician that came out that day was communicative, helpful, and efficient. However, he did mention that the best thing we could do was replace the whole system. We chose to go forward with that because he was so helpful.

We scheduled the install job for this week and were told to plan for 6-8 hours of work. From the moment the install technician (different from the previous repair tech) showed up things went wrong.

Here are the things we endured:
Tech told us we had not been sold a humidifier with our system. Remained defensive even when we showed him the proposal we signed. Then tried to talk us out of that work.

One of the workers seemed to have a bathroom emergency. We had to clean up after that. (ugh)

Boss came by to make sure the work was being handled given the misunderstanding - another interruption to our day.

They didn't bring the right parts to the job and had to take breaks to get them more than once!

Boss (first initial J) stopped by around 11am and predicted work would go until 5-6. Instead, work took until after 8m (11 hours). This was not only excessive, but no one communicated any changing timelines to us. We were just stuck waiting it out with banging, heat rising, and other major inconveniences.

The install techs kept leaving the doors and backyard gates WIDE open. We told them we were happy to leave them unlocked to come and go but to please close things for our dog. Still WIDE OPEN so my dog had to be on leash for over 11 hours.

In the last hour of the job one install tech mentioned to the other "there's a big piece of copper dropped in the unit." The main installer wanted to ignore it until we made eye contact and only then he agreed to open the unit and get it out.

Late that night, other parts of our home broke due to overheating in the **11 HOURS** of work

When I contacted 303's owner the night of the install, she was apologetic and offered us an extended service plan. When I contacted her the next day to tell her of the things that went wrong AFTER she and I had made contact the day before. No help. In fact, it took more than seven points of contact before she made good on sending the extended service contact that was promised.

As we talked about other issues that had come up, the help she offered was for J to come back to our house even though a.) she didn't believe our additional problems b.) he doesn't specialize in the additional appliance that broke. We suggested he call with his plan instead, rather than just having more of 303's people in our house. When J called he had no plan, no access to the part or a technician we needed and after the call 303's owner informed me the call was recorded (creepy) and that my husband had admitted the new issue wasn't 303's fault. (in point of fact, J had insisted it wasn't 303's fault and my husband had said he understood that was their perspective. That's not the same. Nice word twisting try!)

We also heard, "all you needed to do was ask for the door closed" (untrue. We tried), and " [name] doesn't like conflict" as excuses for the door being wide open all day and lack of communication.

We believe that 303 does good repairs & TERRIBLE installs. They use repairs to sell bigger jobs that they can't actually handle. Early in our relationship 303's owner said they like to have loyal customers for life. Farcical.

We did ask to deal directly with them to make things right and they refused in so many ways it was dizzying. They earned this review.

Update: the response from the owner is a misrepresentation and being told out of order as well as twisting our words and requests.

303 Heat was fast and prompt and Roberto was friendly and very professional. He was able to quickly locate the issue with our furnace and solve the problem. Definitely would use 303 Heat in the future and will recommend them to anybody that needs work done to their heating or AC units
