My dishwasher was not draining and I called an appliance repair company to come fix the issue. The technician found the problem to be in the plumbing and let me know that I would need to call a plumber to resolve the issue. I called Good Guys, Bill was at my home and had the problem fixed within a number of minutes. He was in the neighborhood for other work and declined to charge me because it had only taken him a few minutes of his time. As you can imagine, I will thrilled not to have to pay a second repair cost and will absolutely use them in the future. That kind of service builds loyalty!
Good Guys were referred to me by a client of mine, and I was pleasantly introduced to Bill, their service tech. He was professional, on time and honest. I unfortunately ended up needing a new furnace, and my experience from start to finish was great. They were more than happy to answer my plethora of questions and helped me make an informed decision. I would highly recommend them and plan to use them again in the future.
Highly recommended! Professional and friendly with quality work. We had a steam humidifier and whole home air filtration system installed in our house, as well as some gas line work. The work was done efficiently with highly skilled team members. If you want the job done right the first time, call this company! We won't use anyone else!
I had my furnace go out in the middle of the night. Called Home Advisor and the gave me a list of furnace companies in my area. I called Good Guys and they were able to come out the same day and get my furnace up and running. Jacob was awesome! He explained what happened and gave me my options. He was able to find the part needed to fix it but in the future when we replace I will give them a call again.
BAD GUYS! Shockingly bad company. I was struggling with a leaking toilet and Good Guys came out to "help". Curtis spent less than ten minutes in my home, and told me some pipes had to be replaced, and charged me $60. I asked if he could check the pipes first and he said "I have to get to another call, this was just a service call to look at the problem." But he hadn't actually looked at anything and couldn't show me why my pipes needed to be replaced. The same information could have been exchanged over the phone, and I had waited 4 days for that pointless and expensive 8 minutes. The company who actually fixed the problem for me the next day (without replacing any pipes) told me they had been cleaning up after Good Guys for years, and that many people had paid Good Guys a lot of money to replace perfectly sound pipes. I got off very lightly indeed and I am very grateful. Steer clear of these rip-off artists!!!
Warning! Very high prices! Not "good guys" at all! I called the company to unclog my kitchen sink. They wanted to charge me over $300.00 to do this ($312.00, to be exact). When I called the owner to inquire, they explained that their pricing (about twice as much as it usually is) was right in line with the two priciest companies in town (as if this is a good thing), and that their technician had holes in his boots and couldn't afford new ones because he's so poorly paid (the technician was very nice, by the way). They also said that the gas for the trip over to my house would "barely be covered" by the $40.00 they got out of me for a trip charge. They also said other plumbing companies don't stand behind their work, and Good Guys is the only company that does. The owner refused to work with me on price. I explained that he should inform people who have simple household clogs that they're going to be charged an arm and a leg before they send someone out (of course, they can never tell you anything about pricing before they come out--they probably make most of their money from the old trip charge scam). I told him to pay his technician enough to afford new boots (what a Scrooge!), and I congratulated him for suckering me. 'Tis the season, I guess.
Jake from Good Guys is truly amazing! He saved us big time with a leak we had in our ceiling. Efficient hardworking guy, total professional. I am amazed at the high quality repair and more than fair pricing. I really appreciate the hard work and high quality expertise.
Second call was also very favorable. Technician arrived at the agreed to time and also called to tell he was on his way. Jacob went through the system and said what the issues were and provided me ways to save money. Slight billing issues that was resolved by Matthew over the phone.
The thermostat was not working in the house that I rent to my daughter and her roomates. They had no heat. I live out of town and did not know who to contact. I found Good Guys and their positives reviews online. Good Guys went to the house and quickly solved the minor issue and did not charge me. I will definitely use Good Guys in the future and will recommend them. THX
Our furnace stopped working overnight, and with the outside temperature at 18 degrees, by morning our house was at about 54. I called two larger firms in Ft. Collins and was told the soonest I could be scheduled for a service call would be the following afternoon--obviously unacceptable. I then called Good Guys, and within one hour, a technician had arrived, diagnosed the problem, and replaced the faulty igniter in our system. The fee was very reasonable, and the technician very competent and friendly. I will gladly call on Good Guys again, and highly recommend them.
I work with Bill on a professional level and I couldn't say more good things about the guy and about his company Good Guys Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Repair. Super trustworthy, and really just wants to do a good job and keep his clients happy. I would recommend Bill to any of my friends and family member for Fort Collins Plumbing, Heating, or Air Conditioning services. This guy should be your top choice for these services in the Northern Colorado region.
