Allen Service

During the cold snap a couple weeks ago Allen Services came and cleaned the blower and heat exchanger. Noticed we were having issues just a couple weeks after. Today they returned and cleaned everything again addressing our concerns and ensuring everything is in good working order. They were prompt, understanding, and explained the process thoroughly. Keith showed us the work he completed showing us before and after pictures.

Very grateful the company stands behind their work and came back to ensure the system is working correctly as well as efficiently.

Newer addition to their business is their Electrical work from what I understand. Very impressed. Fixed my heated floors in the office and master bath without ordering new parts. Replaced and updated my smoke detectors, fixed wiring as well, and fixed a few light switches for me. Fair price for great work. Thank you.

Keith is professional and knowledgeable. We had a great conversation throughout the check up and everything worked in no time! I called the office first thing in the morning and Keith arrived about an hour later. He made friends with my Great Pyrenees pup, who isn’t used to company. I would totally recommend!

My entire process started with Mark. He was extremely polite, ensured to respect my home, and did a very thorough job of explaining what he would do while he was there and showed me every step of the way. I ended up needing an entire new HVAC system, and made sure that a design consultant came out right away, and was able to have everything installed the next day. This to me was huge, considering the supply issues we have all been experiencing and the sub zero temperatures we have had. My install team was Jasper, Obed, and one other, Jeremiah I believe, but can't remember for sure. All were very polite, knowledgeable and respectful of my home. I could not have asked for a better team.

They recently installed a mini split system for us throughout our home. They were incredibly professional and did excellent work. The lines they ran outside look great and the system inside is efficient and works really well. Memo and Skyler did an amazing job!!!

Jessie did an excellent job. He took the time to explain clearly to me what needed done and why. They worked very hard to take care of my plumbing issues and I appreciated that they obviously cared about their work.

I couldn’t have Had a worse experience. Salesmen Chance said new furnace would be noticeably better and it wasn’t. Told me installers would clear out crawl space and left trash. They didn’t tell me I needed to schedule inspection with city had to figure it out for myself. I called to ask questions about air filter and nobody called me back for days. Air conditioner hasn’t worked right since they installed the furnace and told me they couldn’t send someone out until next week. They say they are all about service but they are not. Very expensive. Don’t be fooled use someone else.

In March of 2022 I needed a new furnace. The sales rep said I should get a new air conditioner at the same time since it was over 20 years old and it would save me on labor if both were installed at the same time. Sounded like a good idea, so I agreed and paid nearly 12k for both. That year on the hottest day I turned on the A/C and no air. I think they were here about 6 different times for several hours. Each technician said it was something different and “fixed” what they thought was wrong. Finally replaced the unit with a larger one and got it figured out. Last week on the hottest day of the year I turned on the air and it never went below 75 degrees. They couldn’t get anyone out for two days and advised me to keep it shut off. Receptionist said I would pay a service fee. Really? A unit that’s only a year old and cost 12k? The technician came out and said I would probably have to black out my windows and skylights, and keep my ceiling fans going to keep it under 75 degrees. My 20 year old unit did just fine without doing this. So basically I paid 12k to cool my house about 5 degrees, since it normally doesn’t get above 80 degrees without air. I expressed my frustration to him and he said he spoke to management and would bring it up in the morning meeting. This was last Wednesday, as of today I haven’t heard from anyone to check in and see how things are functioning. Not impressed.

I used this company after getting a very unreasonable quote from another company for an air conditioner fix. The employees that came out were polite, professional and explained everything. Fast forward 3 years and my basement floods, I again called Allen's and they came out and fixed what they could on my budget, they offered suggestions and were extremely professional. I trust this company to handle all my heater/air conditioner and plumbing problems.

I've had all great experiences with Allen Service! We're a part of their membership program - you pay a small fee per month - and then get your air conditioning and heating units tuned-up each season, don't pay for service calls, and get additional discounts. I feel like we've definitely come out ahead financially being part of this program. Additionally, the staff is awesome - quick scheduling, really knowledgeable and respectful team. Highly recommend.
