Beware of this company! The poorest customer service I have ever witnessed. They have been "finishing the job" for a year. Poor response and motivation. Unable to reach company manager or owner.
They had an electrician complete a job that did not pass code and had to be redone. When asked to assist do to their mistake they sent an electrician that took our money and never started the job. It's been two months and he has disappeared. King star refuses to respond. I'm not sure what happened with the management with this company but save yourself the frustration, money and unprofessional contact.

DON'T do business with this company. I called them last week after purchasing a home that had a leak under the central air unit. We submitted an inspection objection, which we thought was repaired based on an invoice from Vince with King Star. It wasn't and the leak is back. When we called on Wednesday, we spoke with both Michelle and Vince who said they would call us back the next day. That never happened so we called again on Thursday and set up an appointment for Friday at 7:30pm. At 7pm on Friday, Vince called and said it was too cold to come out and do anything. I informed him that this was unacceptable and unprofessional, letting him know i would be contacting a lawyer in regards to this matter. He then said, are you threatening me? Unbelievable. I told him that i felt this situation could have been handled differently and all i got was an apology from Michelle. We have another HVAC company coming out on Tuesday for an assessment of what was or wasn't done.

contracted King Star Heating and Air to install an air conditioning unit in my house. They gave me a quote that stated they would install an AC condenser unit, upgraded electrical box, and a wifi thermostat that worked with Google home in. In Aug 2018, they installed the AC with what they called a "shut-off" switch that was connected to my existing electrical box (because I did not have any open spaces). They also installed a Wifi thermostat that was not compatible to Google Home. The easy part (as so I assumed) was to replace the thermostat with what I was quoted. It took them several weeks and many calls to them to make this happen. Eventually, they installed an Ecobee thermostat that had all the bells and whistles. Unfortunately, this Ecobee thermostat would shut down every time the AC or heater came on. It took multiple calls back to them and several months to get a technician out to just look at the thermostat with no clue on what was wrong. Again multiple calls and a month later, they came back and installed a new Ecobee. That also did not work. Multiple calls and a few months later they came back with a Honeywell that is not compatible with Google home and also shuts down. Their last house call was in April 2019 to address the thermostat and I still do not have a working thermostat.
With regards to this "shut-off" switch, during the winter we had some electrical issues and a tech from another company came out to take a look. He explained to us that the "shut-off" switch was actually connected to the Dryer fuse. He presumed that in the summer if the dryer and AC were running at the same time this would cause the fuse to blow. He also let us know that this was not up to code and would never pass inspection. This was a surprise to me that they never pulled a permit for the work. I brought this up to King Star and they said that they basically can't do anything because their subcontractor who did the electric isn't working with them anymore. The King Star technician got some quotes for me and recommended I use an electrician he has a professional relationship with that was the lowest bidder. I signed a contract to pay for an upgraded electrical box (which was on the original King Star quote), put 80% down and the guy came over to do some ground work and never came back. Multiple discussions with this man over text and calls over 3 months and all he gave me was excuses on why he couldn't do it that day or this day. I've recently asked for a refund and haven't heard from him since. I've called King Star multiple times asking to speak to the owner and left messages but have not received response.
I've paid King Star in full and all I have to show for it is a broken thermostat and an AC unit that is not up to code. This is by far the worst contractor I've ever dealt with!

I called this company for heating problems for my 10 year old furnace. A friend recommended this company. Not only did they fix the problem with a part that needed to be placed. i asked a lot of questions for understandable laymen answers! They helped me to know, understand, and believe that my heating and air system will not fail no time soon. I feel comforted and reassured that I will get the full life from both of my hvac systems..

Our A/C stopped working in one of the hottest weeks of 2018. We called around to several Heating and Cooling businesses and only had two phone calls back. King Star Heating and Air called us back the same day and sent Benny out to inspect our A/C. It turned out that it was very old and had been on it's last leg for a while. He gave us an estimate for a new A/C with and was able to get us scheduled for install the very next day for a great price. I couldn't believe it! The guys that came out were great and so kind. Benny even stopped by on the install date to make sure everything went smoothly. King Star Heating and Air exceeded our expectations and gave amazing customer service. They made follow up phone calls to make sure that things were working well and that the crew took care of our needs. I am so happy we were able to work with such a great company. I would recommend them to anyone!

I just want to say how amazing Kingstar Heating And Cooling is!! Benny is the greatest and is always willing to help in a pinch when something goes wrong with my AC or furnace !! Excellent customer service!! I would give more stars if I could! I would highly recommend to anybody!

I was impressed with everything with a "new" furnace until 2 years later, I find out about all the shortcuts and bad parts that ultimately made me shell out 6 grand to fix.
