Edit: reducing my two star review to one star. They were supposed to come out and give us a quote and explain what the problem was. Instead they came and did a10 minute job (changing the cap) and had audacity to charge me $300. This is very bold. Not even a vulture-like lawyer would charge you this much for such a simple task.

I had an AC problem and it was blowing hot air. There are several things that could be wrong. The capacitor not working, filter needing replacement, refringent leakage, etc. I could understand the $300 bill if the refringent was leaking and had to be refilled. But it turned out the problem was the capacitor. It just doesn't make sense for them to charge so much for a simple capacitor replacement job. I am not sure if I would use their services again.

I am so happy and impressed with the work we received from Chris and his team at Budget HVAC. I called him on a Saturday afternoon because we smelled a burning smell coming from our furnace/AC. He was able to get out by Monday morning to take a look, and it only took him about 2 minutes to figure out the problem. He was able to actually show me what was wrong and fully explained what the options were. We ended up having the replace the unit and Chris had his team out here that same week to get the work done. The price was fair up front so we didn’t bother talking to any other companies; our old furnace was only 4 years old so we had been through the process not too long ago. He even helped install a new thermostat as well. His team was on time, professional, and quickly got the job done. I’d highly recommend Chris and Budget HVAC, and will definitely be using them in the future if we have any other HVAC needs.

Called for air conditioning maintenance. John and Derrick were here within 30 mins and air conditioner repaired within 15 mins. They installed the unit for us on 4th of July a few years ago when our old unit went out and we had a house full of guests. Highly recommend them for all needs. We will use them in the future for any additional unit needs.

My heat went out when it was 10 degrees out and this company was the only company who would come out late at night to repair my furnace, and showed up to my house 30 minutes after speaking to them. They were extremely professional and although all the fixes couldn’t be done that night, they made sure to heat the house up enough to keep me and my children warm. They returned first thing the next morning to replace everything that needed to be. Extremely grateful and thankful to John and his coworker!!!

I made arrangments for this company to come to my property and complete maintenance on my A/C system. I set the appointment with someoen named Chris. I was reassured that the services would happen. The services were never performed. The company never called to explain why. I called several times for an explantiation and was told to hold, they would call me back. I even texted and still no reply. I would not recommed because this company is not professional, not responsive, not reliable and not trustworthy.

Chris and his team are fantastic. We knew we were going to have to replace our furnace and AC unit. A year after Chris came out to fix our furnace, we were ready to get the new units. His team was here in less than 24 hours and the install of the new furnace and AC unit only took about 3 1/2 hours. They are all really nice guys, we’re careful around our furniture and cleaned up everything. John, who is an ace guy, helped us figure out what we needed, led the install team, and even took time to make friends with our overly barky dog. Again, really great team.

The new heater blows at least 2X as much as the old unit. It’s a completely new experience. The price was nearly $10k LESS than 2 other quotes I received a year ago when we were first researching.

Don’t mistake the name “Budget” Heating & Cooling for “cheap”. Everything about this experience has been top-notch. I highly recommend this group. Excellent service. No BS. Good people.

Chris is great. He fixed our furnace issue in the same day we called. We chatted a bit about our furnace and A/C because it’s getting old and he gave us a ballpark estimate to replace both that was less than half of what another company quoted us over the Summer. All-around nice guy, wore a mask (pandemic-conscious), super friendly, put up with our crazy dog, and was super fast. We will definitely be calling Chris again. A+ experience.

Chris and his team replaced a furnace and air-conditioning unit for us on 18 Jun 21. Chris is simply an honest man who does quality work at a good price, and he will follow-up on any subsequent issues if they arise.
When I searched reviews for HVAC contractors, I was hard pressed to find reviews that talked to how the units performed beyond initial installation, so I wanted to wait to post my review.
Budget offered us the best price hands-down, and frankly I wanted to ensure I was getting "Best Value", and not "cheap". 8 months after installation, I am happy to say Chris delivered Best Value! He also has demonstrated commitment to service. After the heat ran for a while in the Fall, we noticed a noise in the furnace. Chris got a team out; diagnosed the problem; ordered a new part; came back and installed it. All under warranty - no hassles - no headaches ... You can not ask for anything more! (OBW the furnace continued to work and heat the house through all this, but Chris and his team simply made sure everything was done right.)
As a further testament to Chris's commitment to service. You'll notice the installation was on 18 Jun: the holiday declared at the last minute by the federal gov't ... June-Teenth. Chris had a good portion of his crew mysteriously "call in sick" that morning. Still, Chris was there on time, first thing in the morning, and he was able to call up other installers. (to include one from Colorado Springs!) Again, no hassles - no headaches (for us, the customers) - Simply a quality installation that was done as scheduled and on-budget ... despite the challenges life presented to Chris.
In conclusion, I will recommend Chris and Budget Heating and Cooling to anyone - without hesitation.

Great service. Chris arrived during the time he said he would. He talked me through everything he was doing. He was very knowledgeable and did great work. His prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be recommending him to friends and family and will use him again in the future.

I was impressed by the level of attention and service I was given by John and his partner to resolve my furnace issue. They were very knowledgeable, respectful, professional and made sure my furnace and thermostat were working safely and efficiently. I can't thank them enough. Suddenly had no hot water. Called budget HVAC and they were able to get someone out to me immediately . It turned out that it was just the pilot light. They got it lit, showed me how to light it myself if needed, and cleaned out dust and debris. They did not try to upsell me a new water heater, or any unnecessary new equipment, like most companies do. Very professional and friendly, would definitely recommend!
