After having a terrible experience with a "big company", and dodging a bullet on their numbers and quotes we were given EGMS as a recommendation by AO Smith company helpline.

Sean Frye was the technician we had. Initial call was pretty clear from Teresa on what to expect. I would say it all went "UP-hill" from there, the technician stayed patiently, explained well into the details of what he thought the problem was and fixed a builder level issue we had from 5 years ago. He actually went and measured all the details and helped with the fix and was very personable and confident in his approach.

In-short, after this fix, my biggest relief is that I know whom to call for a water heater next time in Northern Colorado. I hope all their staff is this nice. Highly recommended for water heater needs.

Teresa is the best Operations Manager. Always get an immediate call back. I had the pleasure of having Sean as my tech again. One of the most competent in the industry. I contacted EGMS to perform installation of a residential hybrid electric heat pump water heater to replace my aging standard gas water heater, because EGMS was listed by Rheem as a local certified installer. At job start, we looked over the cramped utility closet together, and Eric and Fernando reassured me about the necessary gas line work, answering my questions and concerns thoroughly. During this conversation, I expressed that if possible I'd appreciate it if they could try to place the duct for outflow in an accessible way in the confined space, because I was thinking about trying to set up a louver in the duct later on, to redirect the outflow and improve the heat pump's efficiency. I was specific that I wasn't asking for any such louver system at time of install, but was just hoping to get favorable duct placement so I could do the work without moving the heater itself later. While I was away at work, Eric and Fernando used their lunch hour to design, obtain parts, and build into the duct a vent and louver to control outflow much as I had envisioned eventually adding. I was very pleasantly surprised with a demonstration of the working louver system when I returned home as they were wrapping up the job.

Performance of the 50 gal. water heater has been excellent for my family of four, but during the first day or two of use, we decided that the heat pump compressor seemed considerably louder than expected from Rheem's product description. We contacted EGMS about adding an acoustic kit offered by Rheem to reduce the noise, and they promptly dispatched a team to make an assessment. Sean and Andrew looked over the closet and the heater, and decided upon several steps to acoustically isolate the system. Within a few hours the overall noise was vastly reduced, with no need for the additional Rheem kit, despite the heater's very central location within our split-level floor plan. EGMS did not charge us for this additional work, declaring it to be part of the installation service.

We are extremely pleased with the new water heater, and EGMS has gone above and beyond to make us very happy customers.

I have a Polaris Hot water system. Another HVAC company told me the unit needed to be replaced. The unit was under warranty and Polaris recommended EGMS for the replacement. Sean from EGMS analyzed the situation and discover a leak in a drain pipe. The Polaris unit did not need to be replaced. Sean performed the repair and some other regular maintenance items. Sean did a great job and saved me quite a bit of $$$. I will call EGMS first next time.

EGMS recently fixed our water heater. They were responsive and prompt, and they were able to get replacement parts covered by the manufacturer at no cost. They came out twice to make sure the job was done correctly, and gave me pointers on maintenance and issues to look out for. They charged very reasonable rates for labor and didn't try to upsell me on anything that wasn't needed. Very professional and competent. I hope not to need them again, but will definitely call them if I do!

Eric and EGMS are honest, fair, and fantastic to work with. I used them at my restaurant to fix my water heater issue. Each time I called they were easy to get a hold of, respectful, and were on time for the appointments. Eric went above and beyond to help me with the issues that we had and I highly recommend using EGMS!

EGMS is a great company, I used them in a residential capacity and would highly recommend them for any project. They were extremely knowledgeable about my borderline commercial water heater in my house and on more than one occasion were quick to get my family back up and running. We worked with Sean, Eric, Jordan and Theresa and I can't say enough how awesome all of them were to work with. I truly believe there is not any project this team and company could not handle.

Eric Greene did wonderful work and resolved our issues, but more importantly he went well above and beyond to accomplish this. He went up on our roof to resolve a heater/hot water heater vent problem. I can not thank him enough. The very best to him and his company, Dennis Logan

I was very impressed by this company. I had a water heater emergency and was a nervous wreck, but Eric quickly and easily got me scheduled with all the details in order. The repair guy arrived earlier than planned, but he called first to confirm that this was ok. After the repair was done, he walked me through what he'd done and explained to me what I can expect moving forward, and even walked me through a little about the rest of the equipment in my basement (we just moved into this house a week ago).
I strongly recommend this company if you need hot water heater servicing. Thank you!
