I had an issue with my AC/thermostat that I could only guess was a fault. I called Omar to set up an appointment and he was able to fit me in his schedule right away and was communicative through the process. Once at my house he was diligent and thorough in his troubleshooting methodology. I am a professional and I appreciate watching others who really know what they are doing. Omar had isolated the issue and repaired it very quickly. I am fortunate that this happened before it gets too hot in the Valley. I would recommend his services to anyone who is looking for a reliable, thorough, and honest technician.

Our old roof-mounted HVAC unit had been on its last leg for almost three decades already. I’ve had it rebuilt at least 4 times since I moved in over 20 years ago, and the last time I had it serviced I was told it was indeed the last time.

Sure enough, after several more years of chugging, it finally gave up the ghost on Christmas Eve of all days. We had to double up blankets and sweaters to get through the holiday weekend, but got a recommendation to call Omar from my former serviceman who had since moved out of state.

Omar was able to come the very next day for an assessment, (not to mention he came out in a pretty decent rainfall for SoCal) and he confirmed there was nothing we could do to save the old dinosaur.

He gave me several options on how to proceed and what types of units I could replace it with, working within my budget, but more importantly, working within my very picky requirements regarding placement of the new unit without having to cut new holes in the roof or worrying about a new unit not fitting.

Within a matter of days he had a brand new Carrier unit on order and scheduled a crew and a giant crane to arrive for installation first thing Monday morning after New Years weekend!

They had the old unit removed and disposed of and the new unit in place all by 2pm, connected all the power and wiring to my existing Nest thermostat, and ran thorough tests of both heating and cooling as well as replacing the filter inside the home.

He couldn’t have recommended a better unit for our needs. The house warms up or cools down almost instantly now, where it used to take HOURS to reach the set temperature. Now I have to walk up to a vent to hold my hand to it to see if the unit is running because it is so remarkably QUIET for the first time in 20 years! We can sit in the backyard now and have a conversation without realizing the AC is running, where before we had to yell over the sound of the freight train on the roof.

On top of his professional courtesy, communication, promptness, honestly and knowledge, I was delightfully surprised a couple of weeks ago to get a personal follow up message from Omar just checking in to say hello and hoping everything was working well (which I was happy to tell him it was), and when I mentioned one small issue I had regarding the placement of the condensation run-off pipe, Omar didn’t hesitate to schedule a day to come over and personally resolve it at no charge!

I am grateful to have found a new serviceman to call on and to definitely recommend. This young man is building a solid business he should be proud of.

I have used Jorge twice. I wouldn't trust anyone else to clean my ducts and coils. Jorge is a member of the National Air duct Cleaners Association or NADCA. He is only concerned with doing the best job possible and is very knowledgeable. Before cleaning the air ducts the last time, he came to see the system and advised that I have other maintenance done first in order to most effectively clean the ducts. After the work was done, my allergies were gone.

Omar and True Tech Air did a great job for me. I purchased a home in need of many repairs, and the entire HVAC system had to be replaced. Omar met with me to talk about my present and future needs and my options for equipment. With the price of equipment going up daily due to supply chain issues, he acted quickly to secure the equipment at the best price. True Tech installed the new furnace and duct work in the attic and a new A/C unit on a highly pitched roof in one day. Omar came back to adjust the duct work in the attic and has been very responsive. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a trustworthy, knowledgeable, and cost-conscious HVAC professional!

Omar inspected our system and went over his recommendations in detail. The following week Omar and his guys were in our home and upgrading our lives! All the old equipment was removed and hauled away. True Tech Air installed an all new HVAC system, new thermostat, and all new ducting. Our original return air was set up in a hallway closet which was moved to a more convenient location. The old furnace also sat in our entry way closet. The old furnace was removed and the new one was installed in our attic. Removing the old furnace and relocating the return air opened up TWO entire closets! Not only did he create a cat-walk to reach the new furnace but also installed lighting in the attic. New filters, and attic fans were installed that we can control through our phones. New electrical and gas lines were also installed.
Omar and his guys were clean, professional, quick, and up to code. Our home feels 100% fresher and cooler. We have two new closets and can conveniently manage our AC system on our phones. Now the air flow is properly distributed throughout our entire home. Omar is knowledgeable and has very reasonable prices. Definitely went above and beyond.

Omar and his team are the BEST! They’ve done work at both my home and my parents home. They took their time and did a phenomenal job. Their rates are very reasonable as well. Omar even great with our dogs too. He is speedy and professional. We will definitely be using them again!

We woke up and our heat had not been turning on so the house was freezing. Omar came recommended from a real estate agent we know so I called first thing on a Saturday morning and he was there within an hour. He explained what the issues were, showed me pictures from the roof and then went point by point what needed to be done and what wasn’t critical at that time so I could choose what to do. He then followed up in writing with an itemized invoice. He came back 2 days later and made the repairs and maintenance and everything works great. His prices were more than fair and his attitude and attentiveness with my question were appreciated. Let me be clear…I cannot recommend Omar enough and I will hire him again for any HVAC needs in the future.

I am very thankful I reached out to True Tech HVAC, Omar was very friendly and does the work in good quality. Him and his crew came and completed the work in clean quality and fast time. I was not sure Mini Splits were going to be good for my place but he came and did all the work so that he could designed my whole house so that it can be perfect. They went above and beyond to make sure our house was always clean. They wore mask all the time even if I told them it was okay for them to take them off they were very professional to respect the COVID protocols. Having dealt with many HVAC companies throughout the years, it was refreshing to be referred to True Tech. When meeting with Omar, i didn't feel as if I was being upsold or looked at like dollar signs for his next sale. He took the time to explain to me what the issue was with my system, and went over the different options i had to replace vs. fix my system. Being that my system was definitely on the older side, i decided to replace it. True Techs Team was very professional and COVID safe with their mask, booties and gloves. I definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to have their system serviced and or replaced!
