Outstanding service! It‘s hard to find a good quality company anymore…..but Enviro heating and air has it! Their friendly technician came out to our business and diagnosed our AC problem and got it up and running. It was amazing to have such a friendly and knowledgeable technician, who was confident in what he was doing. They were able to fix our system, which was highly impressive, and builds our trust in calling them again. As a business owner myself in the home improvement service sector, I cannot recommend them enough! If I could give them more than five stars, I would do it! Kudos to Enviro!
Covid supply chain issues seriously affected this job. Enviro worked diligently to get us what we needed and make us happy. Our mini split is terrific. We love it. Totally pro outfit. Highest recommendation.
I am a building contractor for over 40 years. I hire only the best subcontractors available, to work with me to perform my projects. Enviro Heating and air conditioning is my subcontractor of choice. They are always on time and on budget. They do not cut corners and there workmanship is the best. I would highly recommend Enviro Heating and air conditioning. Tom Redmond Construction, inc.
15 years ago we contracted with Enviro to install a new furnace, thermostat, and ducting. We took proposals from 3 other companies and chose Enviro after researching the equipment and plan which not only was superior to other bidders' but surprisingly was also the most affordable. The installation went efficiently and has worked perfectly thanks both to the workmanship and their expert maintenance. They respond quickly and helpfully any time we call with questions.
Now again we are installing a heat pump, aka mini-split, in our cottage, once again looking at four proposals. Our experience with Enviro as well as our research once again prompted our decision to choose Enviro. They scheduled us in short time, showed up at 8 a.m. at the appointed date, and did a beautifully expert installation, clearly informing us of the intricacies of the installation and operation of our system. I unhesitatingly and enthusiastically recommend Enviro for any large or small project for their professional, personable, and affordable heating and air conditioning services. Chris Street and company are good people who porvide personal caring for their clients.
We had no prior experience with Enviro but was impressed with Alex, the tech that installed a Bryant Air Purifier into our system. Alex answered all our questions and was thorough with the work. Good people.
Service from Enviro is great - from my timely installation to today's urgent need for repair. I called Enviro this afternoon and the kindly Dispatcher was able to reach a Tech who was on his way home near me! He was wonderful - came, saw, repaired. I never worry about my future Heat/Air system with this kind of good service.
I cannot recommend Enviro enough. Fantastic customer service. Jon Johnson is the best consultant. Mario and Marco were my service installers and they were so thoughtful.
We recently had annual maintenance performed on our two HVAC systems. Both systems were in need of new parts. One is an older system (18+ years), and the second is a heat pump system that needed a way to reduce water accumulation. During the annual maintenance, these were pointed out. We agreed to go ahead with the service. A couple of weeks later, they called to say that the parts were in and we scheduled the service. The guys came today and were very efficient, on time, respectful, and just plain good. I can highly recommend this company.
I would recommend Enviro. We selected Enviro to install a new heat pump system in our home in Petaluma, CA, in Jan. 2023. I had three contractors out to the house, who provided quotes, and also consulted with a Sonoma County advisor. Of the 3, Jason Mitchell (and owner Chris) with Enviro provided by far the most thoughtful process of careful system design for our home, which is very important with a heat pump. (Read some articles, it's a complex shift, when replacing a gas furnace. Wirecutter article in NYT was most helpful.) We also had all the old leaky ductwork replaced. (Unfortunately, they were not registered with BAYREN yet, which would have provided a $800 rebate on the new ductwork.) While their bid was not the cheapest, they did work with us on the price when we shared our other bids. Jason helped us compare the costs and benefits of a ductless vs. ducted solution. We went with a Mitsubishi ducted system; with research, I determined that Misubishi was less expensive and just as good as the Bryant system they led with (which seemed to earn them more $$). Our total cost, with the add-ons of all new ductwork and a HEPA filtration system (for future wildfire smoke events) and 10-year extra warranty was just under $30,000. The air handler and heat pump system alone, installed, were around $18,000-$20,000.
Throughout the whole process, Jason was very responsive, knowledgeable, demonstrated caring about actually meeting our needs, and was dedicated to good customer service. When we had questions and issues, Enviro was proactive about solving them. The installation crew, led by Joey, knew their stuff and were respectful of us and our home, during the installation, and in return visits to tweak things. The admin staff was great about communication. Nothing is ever perfect in home repairs and maintenance, but this was pretty close. The Mitsubishi heat pump system does a wonderful job of keeping our home nice and evenly warm, set at 67-68 degrees, and it is virtually silent. We have not yet seen a reduction in our PG&E bills, however. Gas charge went down, but electricity went up by the same amount. Perhaps next month will be better. On to solar panels ...
Tip: If, like us, you will remove an old furnace (we put the new heat pump air handler up in the attic to reduce sound), make sure you discuss how they will close off and finish out the empty furnace closet, so that you gain a truly useable closet space. An extra closet is a nice benefit.
Enviro installed a new heat pump system, including a ERV and ducts. They were efficient, clean, and professional. Enviro should be on your short-list if you are entertaining new installations and/or maintenance.
