G and his team of technicians quickly troubleshot the problem for free and developed a solid plan to resolve the issue in a timely and effective manner at a price well below the competition. His prices are very reasonable and may seem even too low or too good to be true with the amount of time and effort they are willing to put forth to satisfy the customer. No bait and switch with the family owned Rebel Air Team. For the price I was quoted for a removal and replacement of the A-frame Evaporator Coils from his competitors, I was able to have my 20+ HVAC system removed and replaced with a Rheem HVAC system including the condenser. G explained the phase out of the refrigerant used in the old system and how it wouldn't be cost effective to replace the A-Coils if he was to source them from a distributor, or modify a newer A-Coil to accept the older R-22 refrigerant, not to mention the additional cost of servicing the system with the R-22, if it was still available. The whole team from the front office to the technicians are very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to satisfy the customer. You may even see G's son on the job site helping dad. Rebel Air replaced my blower in my integrated AC/Heater system. They are responsive, quick with quotes and installation, and responsive with technical issues.
The time from which I signed and paid for everything they had it installed within a day. When I noticed the fan was much louder than expected they were very responsive and sent out a tech who quickly solved the issue, which ended up being a minor fan speed setting. I intend to work with them again when I am ready to update my heating system.

We decided this was the best option. Genaro was friendly and when I had some questions about the framing supporting the new unit he showed us some pictures and explained standard practice and our own situation. Tell you what, this unit BLASTS cold air. Happy with Rebel!"
Updated: Honestly the whole experience was soured after they came to test the duct seals. The owner's son came by and had to unscrew the registers to tape off the ducts. He also installed the free smart thermostat that we got for leaving the original review above. I guess they didn't consider that poor on-site behavior would come back to bite them, as I probably wouldn't have written a review at all if they hadn't asked. At any rate, the son left a mess. There was dust everywhere, he never put the air filter back, and he just left the old thermostat sitting on top of my guitar amp where it could have been easily broken and spilled toxic mercury all over the floor. No warning or heads up or anything. Oh yeah, I forgot about the previous visit when he dropped a cordless drill on our newly refinished hardwood floors from ceiling height. G was fine and the work is good but our customer experience could have been better.

Genado and his team are fantastic to work with. My AC went out on the first super hot night of the year and not only they responded right away to my request on yelp late at night, they came out the very next morning to help me out. Genado and his boy arrived early with a big smile, stayed communicative, friendly and respectful the entire time, and were very considerate and thorough. I so appreciate their honesty, transparency and hard work. Don’t hesitate to reach out!

I wrote that review before the job had been completed because they offered a free thermostat upgrade in exchange.
Here is my review now that the work has been completed:
The process started well with a good quote and communication, but quickly devolved into a serious lack of professionalism. The first time that they came to install the HVAC system, they hadn't measured the platform correctly and asked to use the old platform, but said it would look brand new. When they finished, the platform had numerous wood slats sticking every which way to hold up the unit since it didn't fit. G assured us that it was standard, but looking around, no one else had that, so we asked them to come back and put the proper platform on. They did, but not for several weeks. When the son came to replace the thermostat, he left the mercury filled old thermostat laying on the ground (we have pets) and the old dusty filter laying next to it.
This pattern continued in a lack of communication, showing up unannounced and scheduling things without asking. Leaving debris around, moving things without checking or putting them back, and insisting that confusing language on the contract entitled them to $425 that were supposed to be taken off.
It works now, but the process was months and months of aggravation. I would not recommend their company. Nice enough guy, but not a good business.
The only bright spot was their recommendation for a roofing company (Century Roofing), who did an amazing, crazy fast, affordable, and communicative job.

This has got to be the BEST experience I've ever had with a with a repair service. Genaro (G) got back to me immediately and was able to fit me in the same day after his other appointments. After I described what was going on with my HVAC, he suspected it might be something simple that he could fix for free, and it was! As a comparison, the person (who shall not be named) that came to look at it the last time it was acting up said that I probably needed a new unit, and he could get me a good deal on it. G said that was such a lie, that my unit looks great and is a really good brand. I'm so glad I didn't fall for the other guy's scam. Trust is a hard thing to come by these days. I just can't say enough about how pleased I am with G and Rebel Air. They have a customer for life.

Abraham was great to work with! He arrived on time. He walked through the various options that worked with me (budget, time, and what I was looking for). It comes with a 2 year builders warranty + 10 years from the manufactor (when most people only have the manufacture's warranty only). Definitely low pressure and competitive pricing. Highly recommend them!!!

My heater started blowing cold air, so I gave them a call. Genaro came out immediately and fixed my problem. Since it was an easy fix, he didn't charge me a dime. I am definitely calling then the next time I need my HVAC system serviced.
