4-6 weeks after my installation a portion of my dining room started to sag, and the first structural engineer I had look at it said it might be the work done during the heater install, the second structural engineer also said that the install is a likely cause . Unfortunately, due to covid I have had an issue getting a firm diagnosis, but what I do know is that my 98 year old house had FLAT floors prior to this and 4-6 weeks after the dining room is wavy and it has been hell to get any assessment because the ducts are much larger than necessary and also every assessment has said this install contributed to the 30-70K of work I need to get done now. Dropping to 2 stars now and will adjust pending what they find when they pull out all the oversized duct work (that I will need to replace.). My theory is that they served me quickly because the job that canceled on them that made the appt open up (they told me that) was a larger house and the ducts were used despite being wrong size. I will update review after the next estimate which is a few grand to pull out the ducts.
My heater suddenly gave out and so I sought quotes from several companies and the Elements quote was the most professional and comprehensive. I appreciate that they do all work with permits and have outside testing and took care of all the arrangements to get the signoff with city. They also were super fast to respond- same day quote and work started within days. They were on time finished job same day and new system heats way better than the old system because they did the ducts in a more balanced manner. Quality work and excellent experience all around.

I'm not usually in the habit of writing company reviews but in the case of Element Home Solutions, from the owner, Jerry and his crew, Carlos and all the other guys that worked on my house, I felt obligated. From the moment Carlos (and another nice guy whose name I can't recall at this time) pulled up to my house in his spotless van to do an inspection and give me an estimate, I had a good feeling about this company. Carlos called me prior to his arrival to give me an ETA and then actually arrived at that time. He went about his work efficiently and then gave me a complete written description of and estimate for the work they recommended and that I had requested. After doing my own additional search of this company, I felt comfortable and hired them to do the job. Well, needless to say, things only got better from there. Again, the entire crew arrived on time on the scheduled start day with Carlos present, as he said he would be, to provide the job supervision. Every one of these guys worked extremely hard and I was completely impressed with the progress and end result of my job. I had them remove all of the old "blown in" attic insulation and replace it with new insulation and I had my crawl space insulated and a vapor barrier placed. In addition, I had them replace all of my attic duct work because the previous company I used to place my new furnace did such a poor job. I wish I could post before and after pictures; needless to say, Element Home Solutions did a great job. My wife and I noticed a difference in the overall temperature of my house from day one and I've been monitoring my furnace usage since then and it has definitely decreased the overall on time to maintain my set temperatures; I'm curious to see the reduction in my AC compressor usage during the summer. Look, there is much more to say but I can't really speak highly enough about this company; I almost forgot to mention that Matt and a young lady that usually answered the phone when I called were also great. I will be letting them know that I would be happy to speak to anyone by phone personally if they need a reference. This is how a company should be run. Thanks guys for a great experience.

I called Element because I had a rat issue (yuck!) and they had chewed through 2 year old vents under my house! Jerry came out, looked at my issues and recommended new insulation as well. (I knew when I bought the house it had no insulation in the crawl space and crappy insulation in the attic.) And I decided to bite the bullet and replace the 20 year old furnace.

Jerry and Element aslo helped me secure financing for the job from California First/Renew Financial - $0 down and a low fixed rate. I could not have come up with the money out of pocket for the entire job. The financing was so great that I also added an attic fan! We also added a moisture barrier, since they were working under the house anyway and we've had some moisture/water with all the rains. (Moisture barrier was not covered by California First.)

The team from Element was amazing - really - they were prompt, professional, courteous and cleaned up after themselves every day. The job was started on time, finished on time and the entire process was E.A.S.Y.

He also referred me to an amazing company for rodent-proofing my home and they were also amazing to deal with!

Hire this company - they are honest, professional and made the entire process from estimate to install so easy. I'm super excited about how these investments are going to make the home I already love so much more energy efficient - cozy in the winter and cool in the summer!

Element was very professional for installing our central AC unit. We checked 4 other similar companies and they disappointed us with their long work days plan and more expensive estimates.
Element came in drove with 5 workers on first day and finished most of the jobs done on the 2nd day, the workers completed installing AC already!
We liked the project manager, Edwardo, and we liked his persistence. My husband and I already referred Elements to Two other families.

We were impressed by the knowledge and customer service of César Eduardo who came and assessed our home and provided us with a quote.

The work suggested was comprehensive and still tried to meet our budget and needs rated to getting the work done in a timely manner. They sis both structural and less substantive repair.

The team worked for a total of a day and left an in tact, transformed hvac system. they also made a hell of a mess in the house - as to be expected - and cleaned everything up beautifully.

altogether a quality job. They said they would be available if we had any problems, and i believe them.

We used Element to reduct our house a few years ago. The were very professional and even came to our house on a Sunday to do the work. It was very hot that month and Sunday was the only day they could fit us in.

None of the other HVAC inspectors were as thorough as Element was. None of the other companies had the time to help us out. We used Element for three years after that as our go to HVAC company before moving out of state.

Element did a fantastic job installing a new furnace and duct system in our home, and replacing old insulation underneath the floor boards. They also removed the old gas wall unit that we had there previously. They were responsive, able to schedule the work quickly, and able to get the entire project done in 2 days which was ideal since it was pretty disruptive.

Their team was polite, friendly, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. They had to install the unit underneath the house where the only access was through VERY small crawl space openings which I'm sure was extra complicated and dirty/unpleasant but they did a great job.

Following the install we had some issues with a grumpy city inspector and the guys from Element came back out to my house several times to make sure everything was wrapped up properly and that we had the necessary permits and paperwork. Would highly recommend Element for any heating or insulation project!

My 40+ years old insulation needed to be replaced. After I called Element Home Solutions Ernest came to work on an estimate. After climbing in the attic he came back with pictures of my cold air return ducts showing that they were only partially insulated and it was obvious that I was wasting a lot of energy while heating. He took a look at my furnace and advised me that most of the heating ducts themselves in the crawlspace were undersized for the power of the furnace. I believed him because I had been aware that my heating system was not properly functioning and also because he spent more than a half hour explaining to me how all these different parts were working together. So I asked for an estimate for the replacement of the insulation, the replacement of the return air ducts and the replacement of the heating ducts with larger ones.The estimate came back with each part clearly separately priced. I chose Element Home Solutions because they were able to do all this work in one shot and also their price to replace the insulation was the same as the ones I got from other companies.
Their crew came on time and I still cannot believe that they did all this work on a 2000 sqft home in only 2 days. They worked diligently trying to minimize the amount of dust at every step, they cleaned up perfectly at the end and they even reconnected all the wiring of the security alarm system that had been displaced.
In summary it was a great and efficient work, well explained beforehand by Ernest.
But I still have to test how the heating system will work during a cold spell.

They scheduled the work at a time that was convenient for me, showed up on time and were very professional. I had all the old vintage 1962 ductwork and insulation removed from attic, disinfected and sealed up before installing new ducts and insulation. Also added insulation in the crawlspace.
