    My heater failed at 3am and it was 33 degrees outside. I called to have a tech come same day because I have a 6 month old and a 2 year old. The receptionist told me that I was pretty much s**t out of luck until the next day not giving a rip that little kids have no heat. But you know who did care? Honey's air and Solar. They were very understanding and professional and scheduled a tech same day.

    Technician arived early so we changed our plans for the day because of that. We watched as he removed panel, he wiggled a wire and said he found a loose wire. Turned on furnace and it worked. Through this diagnostic he said if it stops working to call him back and gave his personal number.Heater wouldn't fire up an hour laterso we called his number. He said to unplug and then plug back in and it still didnt work. Now we ( myself and my 77yr. Old mother) were in the cold all night and decided to caaall different company. By the way they refused to refund the 59.00 diagnosis fee. New company arived for a diagnosis, found water built up in lines that were shutting the heater down and he went through a tune up and more troubleshooting. Come to find out he narrowed the issue down to a board to order and arived later that day to fix the heater. Now we are on a regular maintenance program with the new co. That knows their work. Worst thing about all this is we went with this company because we trusted them to install our A/C unit last summer for about $7000.00. Why not do good business and refund the diagnostic fee?? Seems like a no brainer. WE THOUGHT WE COULD TRUST YOU BECAUSE WE USED YOU IN THE PAST!

    Do NOT TRUST this company AT ALL. We have had nothing but issued with our system after paying over 12k CASH to install an entire new heating and air system. They do NOT return your phone calls if you have issues, OR FIX THEM. We plan to sue this company for deformation of the agreement. ALL winter we have NOT had a heater and they refuse to return to FIX IT. Do NOT do any kind of business with Derek Sawyer Heating and Air. You will be taken for your money and NO quality service they "say' they will provide.

    They installed a new HVAC unit and service was excellent then, had a problem with leaking through the ceiling recently and they were professionals about everything came in to fix the issue with the HVAC and redo the ceiling, the texturing, replaced the wet insulation and paint..thank you.

    Just called to get a ball park figure for a replacement motor, as I know what is wrong. ,I was just trying to get an idea, they told me NO they have to charge 59$ for an estimate. Ok nevermind.

    Our AC went out on a Saturday afternoon during triple digit heat. We were under warranty with this company, so of course I called them right away. I was told the on-call service was unavailable due to an emergency on their part and would not be available for an appointment until Monday. I had no choice but to call a 24 hour service for help. The other company was able to tell me what was wrong, for free, and was able to fix it temporarily until I could make an appointment. I called Monday to make an appointment with Derek Sawyer's company and was told because I had another company come out, my warranty is now void. They were out ONE WEEK AGO to do a service so we could continue our warranty AND the problem that needs to be fixed was supposedly fixed a year ago when we had the same problem. A true professional would have apologized for my inconvenience and would have made an appointment to fix the problem for the second time. So now we will have to pay out of pocket for the repair by someone else. Fortunately, it will be fixed correctly this time.
