    Apparently the electric motor was burnt out. Sawyer's was the quickest to respond among three services that I contacted. Technician was professional, let me watch as he diagnosed and then replaced the motor. Would recommend them.

    I should add this was the second time we had needed a HVAC repair in 7 years. Even in 2014 they had been the quickest service to respond. That time the capacitors on both units needed replacement.

    Just had my unit fixed by Derek Sawyers Smart Energy and I am very happy and pleased with the service I received. The tech came and diagnosed my system and got the part the same day fixed my unit in less then 3 hrs! The tech made me feel confident in using their service from now on!

    I called Tuesday morning after discovering the night before my heater wasn’t working and they had Alan over within 30 minutes to check out the furnace. After finding out our furnace had more issues than we knew of and discussing how our poorly our AC works in the summer, it was recommended we replace our entire HVAC system. Mike was out to give us an estimate for everything a few hours later, and had a group of guys at my house by 7:30 the next morning to get everything taken care of. I never would have expected to not only have someone come out immediately, but my entire HVAC replaced the very next day. I’m very thankful for the urgency they placed on getting my house and family taken care of.

    We just purchased a new hvac system in our home from Derek Sawyers after finding them at Home Depot. They responded very quickly with good options and after making our choice the system was installed in 8 hours including all new ductwork. Even when I had a question they sent out a technician who was top notch to provide answers . This has been a pleasant experience with a good company not to mention how nice my Lennox system is and the 15 year warranty doesn't hurt either.

    I am very disappointed with this company because cj the sales man made a deal with me to install a brand new air system for $10959 and he promised me if I apply to home depot to pay for the system I was going to get a rebate card for $500 so he help me apply over the phone. So they suppose to receive that rebate card apparently someone kept that rebate card because they been billing me for $500 since then This is almost 2 years ago and I call them so many times and explained to them the situation they said to me don't worry about it will come off and I just received another bill for the same $500 and it said scheduled for collection this is outrageous it sounds like a scam. All I'm saying people out there just be careful with this company

    Brand new customer to this company I'm very disappointment with it. I made an appointment to get a price on replacing my AC unit in my house I took that day off from work. My appointment was at 8am d nobody show up and no phone call. I waited until 845 am I call the company they told me. Oops we made a mistake the person that was going to see you his in Los Banos we can reschedule the appointment for a different time. I will never use their service bad customer service. Can't be taking day off work just because the they made a mistake.

    Just wanted to share my experience with this company. Had service done last week and the tech Allen did a wonderful job. He was on time and very polite. I recommend this copay for any air conditioning issues you may have.

    Derek Sawyers's guys are great! They also take care of the maintenance on my grandmother's system, my fathers system, my sisters system and several of my friends systems every year. They have installed a new system for my father and the parents of my brother in-law, both are working much better than their old systems. We have given him several referrals of friends and family, every time they get great service at a fair price. Nobody wants bad service and nobody wants to hear that one of their referrals got bad service. Call Derek Sawyer's, they will take good care of you, your friends and your family. They are also one of very few contractors in California that can get you rebates from PG&E for fixing problems with your old system. They were able to get my grandmother and father enough rebates to cover the entire cost of fixing the problems with their systems along with covering some of their maintenance costs!

    I call Home Depot for my AC check up and Home Depot send a service man from Derek Sawyer's Heating and Air, his name was Jeremy. A couple of weeks later my AC stop blowing air. So Jeremy went back on June 29th, 2018 to check it. His diagnose was a burn out module and mother board. He said they have to replace it and it is expensive. He ordered the parts and he said that it cost $1400.00 to install the new parts but he said he talk to his Manager and got it to reduce to $900.00. So I agreed and said get it done ASAP since my family from out of town are visiting. On July 5th, I called Home Depot to check on the service. Since I don't have a phone number of Sawyer's my call was transferred to Sawyer's and I talk to Ali ( I believe that was her name) and got schedule the following day July 6, to install the new parts between 4 - 6 pm. In the middle of the day July 6, I got a call from Ali and said the agreed amount that Jeremy quoted me was no longer valid since Jeremy no longer works for them... I said why is that? When Jeremy made the quote that it will cost $900.00 he is still working for Sawyer's is he not? But she said that the owner (must be Derek) won't allow it. And also said if I want to keep the appointment for the installation. So what else can I do but to keep the appointment and to agree to pay the $1400.00. And to make it short I would not recommend Sawyer's for any repair or check up. Sawyer's should have HONOR the PRICE that Jeremy quoted the first time.

    I'm a little late. But I just need to get this out there.
    Last summer my hvac system failed. I was refered to this company. I called and scheduled a appointment. The lady on the phone was nice and profesional. The tech arrived as scheduled. After some time inspecting the system. He comes back to me and says, " well it looks like the main board is bad and the blower moter is bad too".
    Its going to be about $2000.00 to fix. But I can't gaurentee this will fix the problem.
    Now I'm looking at 2k to fix. That I just don't have!
    So no AC for us anymore. Mind you it's mid summer so its in the high 90s to 100s here!
    Charged me $60.00 diagnostic fee and was gone.
    My son say's "dad lets get a second oppinion".
    The next day another hvac company comes out. 5 minutes later he comes in and says okay your all set!
    I asked what???!
    His diagnoses. A FAULTY ELECTRICAL CIRCUT BREAKER. The breaker wasnt supplying a full current to power up the system.
    $132.00 later and its fixed.
    I called Sawyers asked for refund for a bad diagnosis and they said sorry no refunds.
    How can a company opperate this way?
