Was testing out the Home Depot customer service. I walked into the store for a bathroom faucet, Teflon tape, and a gate latch. I found the faucet immediately and had a difficult time finding the tape and gate latch. I saw two employees walking together talking about their weekend plans. Those same two walked across the store and back to the front. They didn't appear busy. Four others were working, and I walked past them. None of the four even acknowledged me. So I walked to the paint department and the two gentlemen were very helpful and I found the other items fairly quickly. The lady at the cash register was quick and friendly. Unfortunately, in my experience home depot seems very weak in customer service on the floor.

Sales person assured me the washing machine was going to work wonderfully or else I could return it with no restocking fee within 90 days. Washing machine did not work, contacted whirlpool, they sent a repair man, he said all agitator less washers don't work, he checked it and said there was nothing he could do to make it work. He said they just don't wash. I contacted the store, they were rude and called me a liar. I had a hard time returning the machine, even tho my paperwork clearly says 90 day return policy, they insisted it was only 30. They still charged me 15% restocking fee even tho they assured me there was going to be no fee if the machine did not worked as the sales person told me. The manager said that no matter what she was not going to lose money. so much for client appreciation. Don't trust their policies and trust even less their word. I'm very disappointed. I call them liars

Ordered online and did curbside pickup. Wendy came out before I was able to text for one of the associates to come out to my car with my order. She was friendly, awesome, and attentive. Great job, Wendy! ☺

Would have been a 2 because I had to wait in isle 15 for 35 min. for someone to help me with a water heater. Called the store # to get help. By the time the store manager (I didn't know it at the time) got to me I had already loaded it myself. I rambled on about the wait & continued toward checkout, she was there & was visibly upset about my experience & gave me a decent discount on the water heater. That is accountability & obviously a store trying to improve on customer satisfaction .

Took 3months to get patio door installed. 1st they ordered wrong door. Then no screen door included. When they stated that it was... Then give me the cheapest screen door.. Then manager fails to return calls... Guy never works at store. When I call he's off today. Oh he's gone for 2 days.. Oh he's on vacation. Must be nice to be him. Never have Home Depot install anything in your home... Unless your ok waiting forever!!

Loved it. Plenty of vegetable seeds to choose from. Just one drawback, had to go out in parking lot for shopping cart. But otherwise , I love going to home depot

For commercial or contractor shopping this is a great place to go. For the individual consumer this is a good place to go. Selections are somewhat limited. If you are looking for something specific or more than 1 of a particular item I suggest shopping online and pick it up in the store. This is especially helpful if you find you need to grab a few extra things to help you finish what you are doing when you go pick up your online order.
