I recently used the services of Modern Air Mechanical to resolve a problem with our home air conditioning unit. George, one of their knowledgeable technicians, had our ac unit working in record time. I had another business before them attempt to tell me my commercial A/C unit was damaged beyond repair. They claimed unit wasn’t passing coolant and needed a whole new unit which averages $10,000.

I called Modern Air for another opinion and their technician fixed my unit in under 30 minutes. He reported that my unit was passing coolant just fine and it was a simple fuse that wasn’t working so he simply replaced it and boom! My unit doesn’t need to be replaced and will last me for a long time!

I highly recommend this business to everyone!!

PRICE GOUGERS --- Company quoted me price for a part that exceeded any online price I could find. Price quoted was $132 but highest prices online were $32.

When I spoke to managements, asking for moderation and consideration, I was told that mark-up was for labor. I was told that Amazon parts don't have warrantees.

I watched the tech put in the part. It took all of 5 minutes to remove from box & plug into the slot. And, online parts from legit HVAC stores with warranty --- still cost max of $32.

AVOID Modern Air --- b/c all you will do is OVERPAY!

Modern air is the absolute BEST! WE had ZERO issues. They quoted us last year and came back this April. They did a quick once over and adjusted the quote to reflect 2022. The price to replace our AC, furnace, and all NEW duct work was such a steal! The employees came on time everyday and the projected completion time was also met. The crew was extremely respectful and really took care of us. From the receptionist, to the crew, and we can’t forget supervisor Miguel. Literally so so thankful for this company. Purchasing a new AC can be a pretty hectic process especially for it being your first time, I promise you, modern air will live up to your expectations.
