Quick return calls and scheduling. I think the best part was the technician advising me NOT to purchase unnecessary items that really wouldn't do anything the lengthen the life or quality of my AC units. They fixed some leaks, charged them up, gave some advice for the future of the units, and was done in under an hour. Would highly recommend!

A couple of years back we were in the market for a new AC and a replacement for an old heater. We received several quotes and it was very clear choice for us to go with West Coast Heating. The value, price and service was better than the rest. Our experience with them with this initial install was great and over the years they have come by to insure that our units were clean and performing well. Alik recently came by and thoroughly cleaned the units and filters and was very courteous and professional. I highly recommend this company!

Mario provided all the necessary information we needed to make the right choice for a new furnace - and without any pressure at all. We sought bids from 3 companies and West Coast was not only the most reasonable but still checked all the right boxes. We were scheduled immediately after completing the paperwork as our furnace failed in the midst of a cold snap. On installation, Tony and his assistant were punctual, professional and cleaned up as if never there. Tony was most helpful with hints as to the best registers to have in place to get the most benefit from our new system and explained everything we needed to know about the new thermostat. We are now warm and cosy and very satisfied!

Gabby who answered the phone, quickly set up an appt even though it was over the Christmas weekend.
The technicians, Dmitri and Nehad, came early, which was a nice surprise.
They spent a lot of time in the "dirty dungeon" where the heating ducts and equipment are located. They took excellent close up photos and patiently xplained why my heater doesn't heat well, and why I am getting HIGH ALERT notices from SDGE.
For a 2,000 sq ft house, my bill is projected to be over $800 this month!

This is the 2nd co. I have had to assess the heating problem. The first company came out on 4 different visits, tried unsuccessfully to fix the problem, and lied to me about what the real issue was, which is that the duct work is wrong with crimped and crushed ducts that cut off air and heat to the house.
And the heater overheats so it turns off, cools down, turns on again. I hear that constant on and off sound 24/7.

Only hire West Coast. They are very honest and professional.

This is the second time we've used West Coast for a large household project. We had a new HVAC system installed about 8 years ago. So when it came time to put solar on our home, West Coast was a natural go-to. We did get other quotes, but ended up with West Coast for our Solar project.

The suggestions they made to provide the best for our Solar home were spot-on without just being price boosters. The crews all arrived on-time, there was no unexpected delay, changes or charges to the contract agreement. The staff in the office kept us updated as to what to expect next.

It's been a pleasure dealing with this company again, and highly suggest anyone installing HVAC or Solar give this company an opportunity. They are not the cheapest, but we firmly believe that you get what you pay for and we are most pleased with our new system.

I just finished having West Coast Heating and Air Conditioning complete repairs to my a/c. The staff was very helpful in getting me scheduled as soon as possible as my a/c was not working in the heat. Alexi, the service technician, was excellent! He arrived right on time (to the minute), and was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed my problem (bad capacitor) and repaired it immediately. Additionally, he gave me advice on how to keep my system operating at the best efficiency. All in all a very easy service experience. I will be keeping them in mind if I need any further services. West Coast replaced my air conditioner and heater and it was an excellent experience. The sales rep Mike, was very knowledgeable and was able to survey the situation quickly and recommended higher quality and capacity equipment at a lower price than two top rated competitors. The installers were true, hard working, tradesmen and technicians that did percission work, with the same care, as if it were their own home. They also provided a Nest thermostat as part of the installation that enables me to control temperatures on my phone. The city inspectors passed the work with flying colors. The owner, Alex even came out to help with minor adjustments I requested that was above and beyound. West Coast is the only company I would have do my work in the future. Don A

I'd really simply like to give no stars but I can't do that. A technician came to do an annual check of my AC unit this morning. He determined that my r410a level was borderline but was still within operational limits. He then quoted me a price of $300 for 1 pound of refrigerant. I was absolutely dumbfounded that this company would charge this much so I sent the tech on his way. I found a 30 lb can of the same online for $139!! This company apparently does not understand how to retain customers. They did the initial installation but I will no longer do business with them.
