    I needed to have someone look at our old heater and tell us if it was ready for winter. Called Smart72 this morning, Timothy showed up soon after. He was polite,thorough, and helpful. He did a great job going through our system and making it ready to use. We are very happy with this service call. I’d use them again for sure.

    I would highly recommend this company. My technician Bailey, was top notch. He figured out the issue when another company twas unable to & fixed it timely. He was friendly, explained things well & made me feel very comfortable with the diagnosis & plan to repair the unit. I cannot say enough good things about how this company handled my repair.

    I’m rating the service people very highly, - very polite knowledgeable and apologetic through what turned out to be a multi-month saga of equipment failures and repairs- for a brand new Smart 72 central heating system installation. First of all, the company as a whole and how they approach their customers is totally “hard sell”, in my experience. During initial consultation they immediately presented contract documents after providing the estimate- not in paper form but on an IPad, which makes it less likely to read them (I, unfortunately didn’t) One of those documents bypasses the 3-day cancellation clause in State law by agreeing there is an emergency requiring immediate installation (there was no emergency- it was a furnace installation in summer). The installation happened quickly enough, within a few days, but the installed central heating did not work! A couple extra hours by the crew- they determined it was a bogus Nest thermostat. Nevertheless, they required full payment upon completion of installation (charged to my Home Depot card), even though the system did not work- and they acknowledged this (read the contract!). Weeks and two repairmen visits later an “updated” model Nest was installed- why not install the latest version to begin with? So, thermostat problem solved- heat shoud be coming on, right? Well, only intermittently and wouldn’t stay on! Another couple of weeks and another polite, competent Smart72 repairman, who diagnosed a faulty circuit board in the brand new furnace, but he didn’t have a replacement- I would receive a call when it came in. Another couple of weeks and now in November! A little chilly, right? So I called- no the part wasn’t in yet, no estimate on when it would be. Time to let the manager know how I was feeling about then(chilly). To his credit he called the next day and told me they had located the part and someone would deliver and install it the next day. Since then (about 2 weeks ago) the system has been working great. Oh, I didn’t mention that that the installation initially did not pass building inspection, although to Smart 72’s credit, they did handle the building permit and paid the extra fee for reinspection.
    My advice to potential customers? Get multiple bids from locals and Smart 72- get any Smart 72 contracts on printed paper and read them!

    The company was able to come out to assess our furnace before any other company and, although it was determined a replacement was necessary, we were very impressed with the care taken to make sure it wasn’t a minor issue as well as with the customer service.

    Appointment was booked through the website chat. I was contacted the next day letting me know my appointment a week out could be moved to a few days early if I want. When appointment time came I was called 30 minutes prior to techs arrival that they would be arriving at said time. When my system was checked they noted the issues that I had and reccomended solutions at various price points. There was never pressure to buy. They put shoe covers when traversing through my home and ensured minimal disruption to my environment.

    I was able to set up my annual maintenance via text which was so helpful while traveling on business. Timothy was prompt, friendly, and very helpful with resolving my allergy responses. His recommendation was an unexpected expense, but super helpful and added value to the overall price of my new house.

    Mark walked me through what they would do, offered two quotes based on our needs and even threw in a Nest Thermostat at my request with a reasonable price.

    Basically, taking out a 50 year old furnace and installing a new furnace and air conditioner.

    The job took at most 6 hours, taking the old furnace out and putting in the split furnace and air conditioner as well as the condenser unit.

    The guys were super nice and even fixed a hole that was made due to the termite rot in the panel roof panel they were making a hole for the unit.

    We will see how things go.

    Our home warranty insurance hired Smart72 to replace our furnace. Ice they received the furnace thermostat were very prompt to contact us and getting it installed. Always professional and understanding about our needs

    They were recommended through our insurance company. The repair person showed up late and he did not resolve the issue. We had to hire another company, sans Insurance, to diagnose and fix the issue.

    The most important thing was their total honesty. No tricks, no surprises. Unlike other companies we talked with about A/C installation. They were not the lowest bidder, but they were clearly the most professional, which is what counts in the long run.
