The service men were very professional and arrived on time. They quickly diagnosed the issue and although it could not be fixed right away, they offered portable air conditioners to use until the job would be completed. It gave me the feeling that they really cared for our comfort and were sympathetic to our situation. I would highly recommend Goettl to others.

Although I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone else, I would like to say that the technician sent to my home today was extremely professional and courteous. He was tasked to seal the registers/vents in the ceiling as well as, sealing the hallway closet where the furnace is located. He was meticulous with cleaning up the areas that worked.

I don’t have any experience with hvac repairs so first impressions mean a lot for me. Skyler came very professional and gave a complete breakdown of everything I need to do. He went further as to explain why a certain repair needs to be done so I didn’t feel like they were trying to up charge. Overall, Skyler was a great first impression towards earning my business.

Rumor has it, this company used to be a great family owned business. Not sure if that was true in the past, but surely isn't now. They will pressure you to do service and repairs that may or may not be needed. They will overcharge you beyond belief. Their call center is a joke. I am not sure how they have such a good rating on here with their quality of service and their lack of ethics. Do they bribe people to write good reviews?
I received a second opinion on the work they told me needed to be done IMMEDIATELY on my system. Goettl had told me I needed to have them do the work that day or my system my get damaged. (This is the brand new system they had installed only 18 months prior.) When I didn't want to sign the repair contract that day, for over $10,000, I was told that I was taking a risk on damaging my system. Turns out, the second company I called was able to do all of the work, plus add two high-end gable fans, and relocate the intake for the system, and correct several issues Goettl left behind - all for SEVERAL thousands less than the repair quote from Goettl.
The company I ended up hiring to do the work showed me several out of code problems with my 'new' system that Goettl had recently installed. The new company corrected those issues, at no additional cost to me.
When I called Goettl to complain about my experience and asked them for a refund on my $199/year service plan that I had recently paid, they told me they will only refund $70, according to contract. I asked the manager, Mickey, if their price gouging and high pressure/scare tactics are also part of the contract.
DON'T LET THIS COMPANY IN YOUR HOUSE! Like I said earlier, I believe they USED to be a reputable company, but I truly don't think this is the case any longer. Since my experience, I have learned from MANY friends and coworkers that either they have personally had a similar experience with Goettl or they know of someone close to them that has. They are all about making an extra dollar (or $4,000) and don't care at all about the customer.

We have a clogged shower drain. A kid showed up and he made it worse. He said he couldn't unclog it and that we should call someone else to try because he didn't bring the tool that could potentially fix it. He looked like he didn't care if he fixed it or not. What kind of a company doesn't come prepared? What business tells you you should call another plumbing company? First time using Goettl. It will definitely be my last.

Update: I was contacted by Mike, who was not willing to let this review stand. He got me a second appointment and the second plumber cleared the issue in less than 20 minutes! I'm very happy. That is what a real business does,they go above and beyond! I changed from one star to five! Thanks to all who helped after the initial visit.

Zachary was very friendly and professional! We have used Goettl for years the service men are excellent. They could use some quality control on scheduling I had 3 people tell me I was on the schedule and 1 say no they would put me on a waiting list I was not happy with that. I waited all day to no avail.

Ray came out, he was neat, professional and detail oriented. Explained in detail what he was doing and why, that is something I appreciate. Although the job wasn't able to be completed today, I asked that Ray return to finish the job. At this point I am happy and would recommend this company.

I had Goettl come out to fix my a/c. Ibrahim came out and he was the nicest tech. He was polite and very informative. I really enjoyed working with him.

We were recommended very specific upgrades to our Heating & Air systems. The tech was able to demonstrate system improvements within minutes of coming to the house. Prices were explained and we bought three of the five products recommended. Thanks again
