We purchased a vacuum-pump, a piece of equipment that costs close to $500, and were never told about their "return policy". We got home to try it, turned it on and it smelled like something was burning. Packed it up, took it back, and are told we need to deal with the manufacturer directly. We asked if they typically mention their "return policy" to clients when things are being purchased, and they said NO. They think we used it, but how is anyone supposed to know an item works, without trying it? Will make the efforts to look elsewhere.

Update 080322: Phillip at BDC reached out to us to help expedite a warranty claim, and to further explain their policy. It would have been great to see a sign close to the check-out area, but glad to know for next time. We appreciate them reaching out to help and doing what they could to assist.

Yeah they were able to extend themselves a little bit find me exactly what I needed got me out of there in a hurry.
