I chose this company based on the reviews. They were very responsive and came to our home twice without charge. Chris spent a lot of time listening to us, clearly explaining the options and responding to our questions. He provided a quote for the work very promptly. Brenda was also very nice and helpful. We are not proceeding with the work at this time due to other necessary expenses, but we will definitely hire them when we're ready to proceed.

I had a great experience with Jason, my sales rep. He was really informative, clear and understanding to my needs without trying to over sell me. Johnny, the lead installer was fantastic with explaining things when I had questions and communicated with me at every step of the way. I felt pretty lucky getting these guys to install my Bosch dual system.

Unlike other companies we called they showed up when they said. Very knowledgeable and friendly. They gave us advice on how to repair our 30 yr old heater but we opted for a new one. Made in America and their pricing was better than others. They did more than required when installing. Above and beyond!

SoCal Climate Control definitely one of the better AC companies! Fernando’s team, Tony sale representative, and Mike the GM have been professional and responsive. I appreciate the transparency and upgrading our Kenmore to a Trane System. I can’t wait to use it and update this review later to mention the great things about it!

I purchased a new furnace and HVAC system from them in 2020. A good-sized job. Their salespeople and primary install techs were good. They push Goodman.

That's where the good news ends. My install had numerous issues, which in all fairness - could have been hardware as much as the operator. They purport a service warranty, which they will do everything in their power to avoid honoring. They are incredibly slow to respond, their phone service people are difficult 75% of the time, and it appears they will deprioritize serving warranty (installed/paid customers) over new business. In my last interaction, I waited over a week to get a call back and only got to engage upon calling in myself multiple times.

And for the final straw, since they wouldn't show up in the winter, I had another firm come to diagnose my system. Note, they installed no parts nor changed the configuration in any way. In my lapse of judgement, I shared this with SoCal, to which the warranty rep was nearly giddy to bluntly confront that another firm "working" on the system voided their service warranty. Even after reminding him, there was nothing actually done, he stonewalled further and said they'd have to charge me for a service call.

You can expect zero service. They were competitive up front on price, so if you go into an arrangement with them, realize that this is what you're up against. I'd stay away.

Mike was very helpful in guiding us through the choice of a heat pump, provision of information to get approval from our HOA, and seeking all applicable rebates. He offered a very fair price and guaranteed workmanship. I gladly recommend him unreservedly.

We hired SoCal Climate Control & Mechanical, Inc. to replace our entire HVAC system, not only the air conditioner, the main components being the outdoor condenser and the indoor air handler. Made an appointment within a two hour window. The two hour window came and went. I called the office who called the technician and I was then informed he would not make the appt. It would have been professional to let the customer know with a courtesy call of the situation and I would have had no problem rescheduling. Unfortunately it felt like my job was not important to them and went with a different company.

Fernando was the technician sent over to our home, he was very punctual & got straight to the point in giving us our options. Really appreciate that he took his time with us and even spoke spanish so he was able to explain everything well to our family.
