Summary: AC Appliance was rude and disrespectful. They weaseled out of doing an included service due to semantics and therefore I believe I overpaid or paid for an incomplete job. They refused to rectify with added rude behavior. DETAILS below if you'd like.
My wife called and got Anthony on the phone, (either is the boss or acts like one). They did offer to replace gas lines/pipes with installing our cooktop. My wife, us having just moved in and getting a replacement cooktop, didn't know how old they were and she said, I don't think so, but we can see when you look at it. Note for later: they said they could do minor cabinet adjustments if needed. Herman (who was kind and respectful) came to install the cooktop. He asked me right away if we needed new gas lines. I said, I don't know. They seem new, I don't think so. Is there a charge? Herman said, It's included in the $165. I said, Ok, you are the professional. I'll do what you recommend. During the install he was kind enough to cut new holes in the cabinet as the connections were different in placement. (they can modify cabinets slightly, remember that). They charged an extra $45 to hall the old unit. That's reasonable. He had to leave to service other customers and return with the proper van. Ok, fine.
Here the problems begin. We called back to reschedule the next day. Anthony returns with Herman. I had later noticed the unit was slanted toward the back and unlevel by a 1/4 in.
I said they could use my spare plywood even. Just that I needed help to move the unit and lay the wood. I could do it myself with help, but figured: why am I fixing their oversight.
But it was 7pm, they wanted to go home I could tell he was upset cuz Anthony was very rude, pushy, and rushing.
I paid him respect by paying his fee of $165 and honoring his skill. Unlike Herman, Anthony was rude in tone and behavior. Anthony said that I should replace my gas lines/pipes. I said, Well I had asked you to do it and Herman said it was included. I could tell Herman was willing to do the quick job, but Anthony saw $ signs falling out his pocket and undercut him and replied, Yes, but, I spoke to your wife on the phone and she refused them. It says it on your receipt. Jobs done can't do it. (Even though they were still in my home and in front of my unit.) (Let Herman run the business, I'd pay $185 knowing we'd be taken care of.) Here he attempted, rudely, to pit me against my wife to deflect his misconduct. Incredibly disrespectful. I showed him my receipt, it only says, "Used original lines." Not refused. He didn't care and blamed my wife for refusing the lines. Even though I am the customer, I'm the one paying for the unit and install, I own the home. My wife only kindly set the appointnment as I work 13 hr shifts. Even he said over the phone to my wife that he didn't know what he would charge until he saw the unit. Double standard and misleading. I hired them, they work for me for the install (ofcourse in regards to their services).
A/C Appliance seems to think its less expensive to lose a customer and, if I've persuaded you, even multiple customers, than it would be to spend 10 minutes replacing gas pipe/lines that they would already include upon request. And maybe be more respectful. I know it's hard... They must be doing well. Maybe I just got the worst of them. I don't know. All I know is we don't matter.
2 stars in aggregate. Good install, but takes no responsibiliy for minor adjustments like alighnment. Will send their best face forward but internally is rude and disrespectful toward customers who pay their bills. Plenty of other rude companies that will install your units.
The 2 guys that came out were fast and professional. It was $50 to run a diagnostic. There was something stuck in the propeller. They cleared it and our washer is now working fine. He said we could replace the pump for $270, or give it a chance to see if that solves the problem. If it happens again in the next 30 days, the $50 we already paid will go towards the new pump. They were honest and didn't charge us for something we may not need. Very pleased with their service.
Excellent company, my new go-to for all my AC and appliance repair needs. I had an issue with their service, which is going to happen from time to time, nobody's perfect, but they were extremely responsive and resolved my issue same day. Thanks guys!
I had a awesome experience with AC Appliance with my refrigerator. The previous Appliance repair came out 3 times and gave up. Herman from AC Appliance found the problem quickly and ordered the part. It arrived quickly and he came out and replace it. Now my ice maker works. Great Job.
Do not use this company. I called them for an issue with my refrigerator and I still have the same issue going on now that they had supposedly fixed. They were full of excuses from telling me I don't have the best quality refrigerator to we worked on it quickly for you, now it's something else etc....Playing a guessing game instead of running an actual diagnostics. Inexperienced technician with lack of communication. The manager even said that he would talk to technician about fully communicating the work and issues at hand. If you want good honest work do not use them because that they are not.
Not happy with them. They diagnosed a microwave I had with a faulty magnetron. I double-checked their work with a multimeter after they left... No power to the magnetron. So the problem is before the magnetron! And they wanted $458 bucks to fix it... With a part that wasn't broken. Waste of $50!!!!
Service man didn't know what to do. Asked my son. Well we called and paid him for his expertise with pellet stove. No luck. Left hanging. Still no heat.
Friendly service. Nice technician came to inspect my failing old refrigerator and was neat and on time. Thank you to you all for the service call. Unfortunately the fridge was toast. Will call on these guys again!

I ended up just having them do the diagnostic and not the repair since the washer needed extensive work done it wasn’t worth fixing. They gave great recommendations for washing machines.
