MAGMA HVAC

This company is awesome! Called my home warranty at 11am cause my AC was blowing hot, spoke with MAGMA at 1pm and they were here and problem fixed by 2:30pm. All same day. Another company said they couldn't come until Friday!!!! I highly recommend MAGMA.... they really care!

We made a claim on our home warranty about a month ago, and Magma air was the second company assigned. The first phone call we were promised a call back within 20 minutes, which was not completed so we called again. A wonderful service guy named Ray came out and helped us file a claim to replace our HVAC system. We were told it would be $525 out of our pocket. When the warranty company ordered an air handler that would not fit in our attic, Diana in the office helped describe what we truly needed to the warranty company. When it looked like the warranty wasn't going to pay what the owner of this company wanted, he called us and claimed we needed to pay him over $5500 to have the system replaced. We went back to the warranty company and they ordered the right equipment. We are to pay a little over $1300 now, which is ok. What is NOT OK, is that the owner of Magma air DEMANDED we pay him before he comes to our house to install the equipment. I've seen too many news reports here in Phoenix of rip off artist contractors, so we said no we will pay when you come. He said I'm not coming then. We said we would give him a check when he came, he said, then I'll wait for it to clear. Are you kidding me? The warranty company paid for the equipment. I owe him for a whole $1300 and he won't show up unless I pay him first? Like he thinks he will be the one ripped off? No one at the warranty company said I had to pay upfront. If you have a home warranty and they send this company, run. The owner is rude and shady.

Ray was professional and courteous and was quick to identify and resolve the thermostat issue. Would recommend and will use them for my AC service needs.

They were super over the top amazing, professional and helpful. Not something you see in the summer in AZ. I am a Realtor and this kind of service is RARE. They were awesome to my mom who needed the service. RAY GARCIA was like crazy friendly and exceeded our expectations.

Ridge came out and did a very professional job, kept us informed every step of the way, and was conscientious, removing shoes in areas with carpet. He also had such a positive attitude! A great asset to your company! Thanks for a job well done!!

Roman chose & I installed the perfect ceiling AC unit for my newly built casita! Which was actually converted from my garage….All the spot on construction done by MAGMA as well!!

I didn’t choose this company. I was assigned to them by my home warranty company. We have now been without A/C over a week. They came and diagnosed the issue on Monday. I have not received an update. Called and was told I would get a call back in 15 minutes, nearly 24 hrs later nothing. When I call to speak with someone it goes directly to voicemail and the mailbox is full.

Great service, made the process as easy as possible for me.

Magma is awesome. Not only did they prioritize installing our new AC (when it went out on a 115 degree day), they came back and installed my Nest thermostat. I highly recommend Magma!!
