I love this store and as a construction worker i have visited many times throughout the years. Ive recommended this place to many friends, family and customers of mine. Always clean with friendly staff.

Today was different. My girlfriend and i stopped in for some things and looked around for things we need for our home. We were disturbed as some of the sales people followed us around the store as if we were going to steal the items that we had in our hands. That feeling that you get when someone is watching you weighs heavy in this store. To my surprise i see an employee looking around the corner from outside the aisle directly at my girlfriend and i. Before i can make it known that i have spotted him he starts walking towards us and asks if we needed help. "Were fine thank you i implied". Moments later he returns to our aisle to do some dusting of the shelves still watching us and started making small talk about the world and prices going up ect.. He then leaves us alone and another employee comes and asks if we need help while being stared at from a far by management. it made me angry that they treat customers with such suspicion here. I did notice that the store was very empty. I think they have raised the prices too high, and combined with the sales people following people around they are losing business. We felt so uncomfortable we only bought what we needed, normally we spend a lot of money. But not this time. If you want to feel welcome and respected, don't shop here.

I will never enter this establishment again. Not for anything. My boyfriend and I stopped in to buy a few items. At first we were greeted as expected. However, throughout the duration of our visit, we constantly had employees coming up to us repeatedly, although they were the same ones who had 1 minute earlier asked if we needed help. We also caught an employee spying on us from around the corner. It felt like they were judging us and assuming that our intention was to steal from them. We had actually intended on making several rather large purchases, but after the unfair looks and completely misguided judgement of our characters, I decided only to purchase a few small items, only for the sole purpose of showing the staff that we have the means to pay for our items wanted. This was not just a case of being overly friendly or attentive. This was a gross misjudgement of myself and my boyfriend on their part. I was going to ask the employees what issue or concern they had with us. However, I didn't want to get upset and argue or anything and make their assumptions of us seem accurate in any way. Maybe it's because I was dressed in comfortable clothing, or possibly it's my tattoos, or maybe there was some other issue. Either way, it was unfair. It's definitely not good business practice to outright show your paying customers that you have absolutely no faith in them and just decide to treat them based on some unfounded assumptions. This was disgusting and never will I step foot into this particular Ace Hardware again. I will say that the store was very clean, well stocked and organized as well as easy to navigate. Had it not been for the unreasonable stares and overbearing attempt to catch us doing something we would never do, nor have we ever done, I would've left a positive review. Super disappointed on this one.

Excited to talk to the helpful hardware man and this clown looked at me like I stunk and barely spoke to me. You need to be a little more excited to see your customers. I'll take my money somewhere else.

I went to them because the have a ReSharp machine in their store. Brought five knives. The did an excellent job while I waited. Walked around the store while I waited. Clean, neat, lots or merchandise and staff was friendly and helpful.Going to them with a second batch of knives soon.

They didnt even have to do that.. That was going above and beyond for their customers πŸ‘πŸ‘....
