$94 job, $454 bill!

Had to wait two weeks for service, “busy time of year”. Fortunately leak was manageable. Pleasant service person, job well done.

HOWEVER, you must keep in mind they charge you for travel time TO your home and RETURNING to their business. This added $160 to my bill. When clarified with the office received, Yes, that’s what we have always done.”

Arrived 825, writing up my bill 945. Charged 0800-1015. That’s 2.25 hours for 1.3 hours work!

So the next customer is paying for the travel at the same time I am paying for the travel. Not very honorable.

They had what i needed and for a fair price. Im from homer and had just paid 50 dollars more down there for the same exact item. Britt was awesome. Super friendly and helpful, he also took the time to show some tips and tricks at getting the most life out of the peice. If i have any other problems i will definitely be calling them first.

Awesome selection of plumbing parts and employees are very knowledgeable and readily share their experience with newbie and veteran laborers equally. They also have a showroom upstairs with a wide selection of toilets, tubs, vanities, sinks and... nice stuff that you'll never see at the local box stores.

I just completed installing a toilet I ordered from CP. They shipped it very quickly and supplied all the parts I needed. Excellent color match to the rest of the bathroom. We live in bush Alaska and have come to trust CP for our plumbing needs from a total bathroom remodel to replacing a 30+ year old toilet. Came in needing a fitting for an RV water tank, was in a hurry so the guy at the counter gave me the fitting at no charge. Was only a $3 part but was still very nice of him. Highly recommend these guys! Great service!

Recently my on demand hot water heater went out. We were 4 days without heat or hot water. These guys were able to provide the part I needed and provide assistance to replace it myself. They saved me hundreds of dollars. Thank you!!

Britt at Central Plumbing and Heating is very polite, professional and knowledgeable. Britt went the extra mile in trying to help me troubleshoot and fix a problem with my furnace that I was trying to repair myself. It was because of the assistance I received from Britt that when I was unable to resolve my furnace issue (I felt it was better served to have a technician at this point) that I chose Central Plumbing and Heating for the repair. Have a Koehler toilet {don’t buy Koehler if you are a DYI individual} that I needed to rebuild the tank flush valve. Lowe’s and Home Depot didn’t have the this brand valve gaskets or kits{they require specialty parts, generic CANNOT be used}. Went to a local plumbing store in Wasilla where I live but no good, they’d have to order like I would. Mark here was super helpful. The entire kit with both large gaskets and the entire valve kit was less than $30. Thanks guys!

I went to their store looking for a product that didn't exist (unfortunately). However, the staff spent a lot of time walking me through a few alternatives to solve my issue. They were incredibly patient and knowledgable. I've been there in the past and they've always been great!
