Forget the big box stores; this is where you need to come. I had a small plumbing job at home, and I couldn't find the correct pipes and fittings I needed for the job - I checked both Lowe's and Home Depot. These guys were awesome. They answered my questions, gave me recommendations, and had the exact parts I needed. I'll be coming straight here next time!

Exceedingly knowledgeable and helpful. I went in requesting a part and they had a few clarifying questions. A few seconds later they knew exactly what part had failed, what symptoms my boiler system was exhibiting, a more practical way to fix it and what I should watch for. Both associates were chiming in with advice and were finishing each other's sentences. I didn't expect to be impressed enough with a heating and plumbing supply store to be writing a review Saturday evening but here I am all the same. I'll be going back with any future needs and you should too.

Lenny was a life saver! Very knowledgeable and empowering. With his instructions and what he had me purchase I was able to get the water back on to my home (without a flood) and without spending an arm and a leg. Also very respected by all there and everyone wore masks to respect and protect each other.

Everyone there is super helpful. I went there with an igniter part for my boiler and they were able to find the replacement for it. Mike was super nice and I can't remember the other guys name. Also a few years back, I took my brother there to find a part for his toyostove. The part he needed was out of stock, but the manager sold him the display part he needed to to get his heat up and running. I highly recommend Central Plumbing and Heating 3000%.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with one of the saleswomen today. Had called early this morning to get pricing and availability on a pressure-assist, rear-outlet toilet, and was quoted around $410. She listed what was included, and stated they had it in stock. I live over an hour away from your store, and since the price was only a little higher, and features were comparable to the one I was planning on ordering in from another supplier that was closer to me- and I was short on time to complete this project, I obtained a babysitter to watch my kiddos, and drove down to pick it up.

The toilet was in stock, but was over $200 more than she had quoted me. The gentleman who was helping me told me she was on lunch break, but if I could come back in another hour, she would know more about it, and would be able to help me out. After wasting another hour waiting around, she stated that she had read it wrong in the system, and the closest thing to an apology I got was a flippant “my bad”. She made no attempt to help me out, offer any kind of solution to the huge problem she created for me, or to retain my business in any way. Her bored dismissal of the situation, especially from somebody in a sales position, was pretty unbelievable, especially in a world where people have a lot of other options to give their business to.

I’ve worked in sales most of my adult life, and I just can’t imagine after wasting hours of somebody’s time and gas money, quoting somebody the wrong price- not even trying to fake remorse or empathy for the situation I’d created.

Everything I need for this project is coming from one of your competitors now, and I will have to be extremely desperate before I’d risk dealing with her again- which is unfortunate when she’s the face for your company.

I don't post tons of reviews, especially negative feedback, but this time involved my mom. So fair warning.

Today my mom and I stopped by Central's store, hoping to talk to someone knowledgeable about toilets and check if they could quote a lead time for a replacement quicker than our current Lowe's order. We walked in and immediately it's confusing to navigate the space because there's a sign stating that the showroom is in "the next room", aided by an arrow pointing to the right side. Okay...

So we walked to the side where the parts are and were ignored by two employees, until the third employee finally acknowledged us enough to just look at us as if to say, "What do you want?" We asked where the showroom floor was. He gruffly replied, "Upstairs." So we went there.

The employee upstairs was with another customer. We walked around looking at items and commenting on them for almost 15 minutes without ever being acknowledged. Never even a "I'll be with you in a moment." Nothing. We left. We're now ordering a toilet from Ferguson.

I did retail for years. I've been a supervisor and a manager. I've actually worked in the plumbing industry for several years. There's no excuse for the lack of professionalism we received today. Years ago I worked for a supplier for Central and even then they were rude. As a potential customer I was hoping for a more positive experience, but this instance was even worse. We wanted to support a more local business, but oh well.

Acknowledge people who walk in the door, assist as best you can, and get a sign pointing up the stairs (or remove the sign completely and allow them to assume it's upstairs). That's just the beginning of a much needed overhaul with this establishment.

We had a rough day trying to get plumbing issues handled and resolved. After wasting 3 hours at home depot we stopped here. Not only were we met with helpful friendly staff who had the time for all if our "silly" questions and patients for explaining what we needed but they went above and beyond any possible expectations of business. I can not even find words to express the kindness we found. The kindness continued after we made our purchase and were outside having some car troubles, so it was not simply a profit driven kindness. The gentleman I belive was probably the owner and his wife stayed late to be sure our issues were resolved when they could have easily just locked up shop and gone home. I will recomend pay a little more than the big box store and get the treatment every customer deserves. Fantastic customer service is so hard to find in today fast paced world.

The guys at Central Plumbing and Heating are the best! All the staff that we encountered during our visit both to the plumbing store and the wood stove store were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. How refreshing to find people who enjoy their work and make customers feel so welcome and comfortable in their store! They also got us the part we needed right away that we hadn't been able to find at any of the large-chain hardware stores. We'll definitely be return customers! Thanks guys!

Central Plumbing and Heating arrived within 2 hours of me calling regarding a broken water heater....emergency! Once arrived, the plumber installed and removed the water heater within 2.5 hours. Impressed with expediency and customer service.

This may be a normal cost, but the only downfall was that I have never heard of paying someone $160/hr for them to drive to your house and back from their workshop. From the call prior to work, I understood that this cost was only added if I didn't need to have anything fixed or replaced, which I did. It may have been miscommunication but I felt this was something I shouldn't have been paying. Overall, I recommend.
