Organized and efficient with tradesman quality tools. Mostly no comparison to typical HF disposable tools. Prices are a bit higher but a cheap broken tool in the middle of a job is a much higher cost to pay.

Wanted a drill operated water pump to empty a fish tank. They had just what I wanted. First time there, so I did some browsing. Wide selection of tools and equipment. It's a little hard to find but worth the trouble. Will probably become my #1 tool store.

Put on hold for more than 8 minutes so I hung up and called back and again was put on hold for another 8 to 10 minutes. Also when I went to the store to buy something that they had told me on the phone that they had it, 2 different associates said they didn't have it but then finally another associate said they would need to move some boxes in the back to get it and she did. It was like they other two were too lazy to look. I have to drive about 35 or 40 miles from home to the store.

Only bad thing about this place is I always leave spending a lot more than I had planned. Otherwise service is great selection is too good and quality of tools is amazing for the cost.

The service reps at this store are the most helpful of any store I've been in. Their place is well kept and the products are top notch. The military discount is an excellent bonus.

Northern tool has very good product quality . Also stand behind the tools and equipment that is sold. I'm very pleased with everything I have purchased.

Great supply and selection, also clean and well organized. Not the best for wood working, but an all-around solid "general store" for quality equipment. Staff is friendly and eager to help.

Doesn't smell like Chinese rubber. The house brands all seem to be higher quality than Hazzard Fraught, though some of the generic stuff is the same sort of crapola. The carts are these goofy half size baskets on full size frames that you bang into stuff because they're twice as long as they should be. Also the aisles are too narrow for the carts so maneuvering is a pain. Generally positive experience with some small issues to square away.
