Climatemp is the best in the business and their office staff is top notch. Jolie and the other ladies are always very helpful and all of the technicians are very professional and really know their stuff. Climatemp is the only company that I will allow to touch my HVAC system because I have used other companies in the area and have always had awful, over priced service. Thank you Climatemp!!!

Had a guy named Brad come out to inspect our AC unit recently. He arrived promptly and was nothing short of professional. He actually took the time to explain the issues with our unit and I have a better understanding of my equipment because of it. I would highly recommend this company, especially if their technicians are anything like this guy.

Crooks ready to take advantage of unfortunate individuals. Quoted me $85 trip charge and $200/hr to come diagnose my issue not 5 minutes away. I'm a professional geologist and don't charge this much! Call Bay Breeze, local family owned father/son business.

Climatemp sold and installed two new Carrier Infinity series, 18 seer units in 2019. These came with a 10 year parts/labor warranty. In 13 months, Unit A stopped cooling 3 times over several months and Climatemp was unable to effect permanent repairs. The last time Climatemp repaired unit A, it stopped working within 18 hours. This was after several days of disruption, no AC, and probably 10 hours of attempts to fix it. Unit B stopped cooling at the 7-month mark and the air handler had to be replaced. They broke the condensate pump which leaked water everywhere and didn't seal the discharge side into the main duct during the install. In addition, I have seen several misdiagnosed issues, unterminated wires, holes in return box, and uninsulated freon lines to name just a few issues. My favorite was the condensate pump installed so that it blocked the door from closing to the air handler room. The customer service is awful. Nobody will call you back. You have to follow up on everything yourself. I had a no show on more than one occasion and when I called to ask where the tech was, “oh he’s not going to be able to make it.” After unit A stopped cooling, yet again, and nearly immediately after the last attempt to fix it, I attempted to reach a final resolution with the GM David, but he never called me back. He told me he would speak to the owner and let me know what they decided, but no call. It would be laughable if I hadn’t spent 14k on two units and was one year into a 10 year parts/labor warranty. In the end, I never heard from him again, all while unit A was not cooling. Ultimately, I had to get Carrier involved who thankfully switched my parts and labor warranty to another local factory authorized dealer, who has been amazing. The new dealer fixed unit A on the first attempt, in about two hours, which was over pressurized with freon, and had been incorrectly diagnosed by Climatemp. They provided updates through the whole process. Then, they reconfigured unit A and B, which were never set up properly and were running inefficiently on factory default settings. I would give anything to be able to go back and avoid ever using Climatemp, but they had such good reviews. I discovered that A LOT of them are from their own employees. Even the techs told me, they’re told to leave five-star reviews on google and have their friends and family do the same. Look through the reviews and you will see the same names that you hear when you call dispatch or receive an email. The owners, and the GM leave them, as well as their family. You will see the same names leaving reviews across every location. Normal customers don’t do that. When bad reviews are left, you will see threats of litigation and claims of fake reviews. Folks this company is shameful. Please save yourself and use any number of available HVAC companies in Baldwin county. If you have a part/labor warranty with them and you feel trapped, call Carrier. They can and will help you.

I bought a house 2 years ago and Climatemp had been servicing the house to we extended the maintenance for 3 years. I have now forfeited the 3rd year to go with another company because of how poorly this company treats its customers. The office staff are rude and will not assist in any way even with simple scheduling requests.

Several times I asked to speak to a supervisor and I am pushed off and told they will call back and shockingly I receive no call.

I called Island Air and immediately someone came to my house and fixed the problem and their follow up was amazing.

There are better choices out there than Climatemp for sure.

They were great! My AC died Friday evening. They came right out, confirmed it was beyond repair and installed a complete unit on Monday. Other things I like about Climatemp: 24 hour service, polite OnCall staff who kept me informed, competitive pricing,

Very disappointed with current staff and techs at Climatemp Heating and Cooling. We have had a pact contract with them for several years and bought a new Trane unit four years ago. Previously, the techs would come out, check inside and outside unit, often pour a cleaning solution into the unit, replace filters and always make sure the unit was working properly before leaving me with a detailed work sheet signed by the technician. The last couple of trips have been very unsatisfactory. We had a routine check in the second week of December by two techs. After much discussion among themselves, they informed me that my unit was in need of a new control panel and an additional part that controlled condensation within the unit. I was not told that the additional condensation part was optional. I was told my bill would be $500.00. I gave the technician my credit card expecting a written invoice in return. When I asked @bout the invoice, he said it would be emailed to me later that day with information about availability of the repair parts needed. It haas now been a month and after MANY requests, we have still not received an itemized list for the $500.00 charge. I feel that I was mislead about the need for the condensation “blue light” part and the labor charges for this service. After reading the complaints written on the BBB web site, I feel that I have been take advantage of by this company. I will not renew my contract when it comes due and I will share my experience with others when I’m asked to recommend a reputable company.
