Muchow & South Central Heating & Cooling

We got charged $195.00 for a 5 minute job. We purchased a furnace, air conditioner from Muchow. Our furnace would not start on a Saturday. We called them and told them this. The part was 40.00, for the call we got charged 140.00 because it was a Saturday, plus 15.00 for calling us back. Sorry we will not use this company again. They had the part with them, it wasn't like he had to order it. Very unhappy that they charge 140.00 for 5 minutes. Guess we should get into this business. It is ridiculous. We are spreading the word, so other people don't get an outrageous bill like we did.. Very disappointed.

We had a supposedly new furnace put in by Muchow in December 2017. Had many problems, but they came back when I called them, probably at least 6 times. Now the air is on and I went down to check the fan as we weren't getting any air flow. There was a hurricane of cold air coming out of everywhere. They never sealed anything. Terrible install job.

Had them out last fall to check furnace . I thought it might be a bad relay but had no idea which one. Matt cleaned everything and thought he had it repaired .Acted up again next day so I called and he came right out and repaired it and I was billed for only one call . I was extremely pleased with the service and cost Am going to call them this week to check out my AC .

I called on a Friday morning as my AC quit working. They showed up in the time frame as promised and were courteous and reasonably priced. They were helpful and thorough.

Made an appointment a week in advance wife took off work they never showed up.
I was told Muchow is now under new ownership for the last two years.
When I called they asked if I still want them to come out? I said no and after that the girl was not friendly and basically said fine and hung up.
I could not believe I was treated that way after they did not show up for the appointment.
Customer service is not what it was before so don't waist your time calling them.

I called yesterday afternoon, a technician called me and came out the next afternoon.
Low cost repairs on a older AC unit. Fixed in a fairly short time. Thank you so much for all your help!

You learn about a business when you call in an emergency. This has happened on several occasions and they are all over it every time. If Muchow is involved I know it will be taken care of. Along with that they charge a fair price.

Excellent service. Fixed noisy furnace and gave it a tune up. Tech was polite and knowledgeable. I cant say enough!
