What a wonderful experience, my 47 yr old hvac died a week ago Thursday. It was a champ. I called 5 companies disparate for help, most would take 4-5 days to come out, the Area sales technician was at the house in 2 hours! Scott was extremely knowledgeable and pleasantly up beat. I didn’t want to wait for other bids, since with house was without heat… 8 cold days later, the Area installation crew promptly arrived and proceeded to overhaul my old system and install the new one. Very very organized, unbelievable attention to detail both for the job as well as the homeowners home.
Heat was on by the end of the day!
I am totally impressed with the professionalism, consciousness and pride my Area contacts exhibited!

Disappointing Three-Year AC Unit Troubles
I am extremely disappointed with the ongoing issues I have faced with my AC unit over the past three years. Considering the fact that we are the original buyers of this new house, it is disheartening to encounter such persistent problems with a supposedly brand-new unit.
During the first year, in the middle of a scorching summer, my unit completely stopped working. I had to endure weeks of unbearable heat, reaching temperatures of up to 90 degrees, before a technician finally arrived. After working on it, the technician claimed it was fixed, and it indeed functioned fine for the remainder of the summer. However, this respite was short-lived.
In the second year, the same issue recurred. This time, the technician discovered that the coolant was low and found a loose fitting, which they assured me was the cause of the problem. Regrettably, after the technician's visit, the humidity in my house skyrocketed. When I contacted them about this new issue, I was brushed off and advised to purchase a dehumidifier. Despite running a large dehumidifier throughout the entire summer, I was left with an uncomfortable living environment, constantly battling high humidity levels. Moreover, I was advised not to set the thermometer between 68-72 degrees, which further inconvenienced me.
Now, in the third year (2023), I had hoped that my persisting AC problems would be resolved. However, after using the unit on a few hot days, the humidity issue resurfaced. Frustrated and determined to have the problem fixed, I scheduled a service visit. Last Tuesday, a technician arrived and conducted a more comprehensive check-up. It was finally revealed that there was a puncture on the inner coil, causing oil to accumulate in the ez-trap. The technician assured me that this issue would be addressed, and I specifically asked if the unit was safe to run until it was repaired. I was reassured that it would not be an issue and that we would be fine until the fix.
To my dismay, two days later, as I write this review at 8 PM, my house temperature has soared to 80 degrees. The unit has stopped working entirely, leaving me without air conditioning in the middle of summer. Adding to my frustration, I have not received a call from the company to schedule a time for them to come and rectify the situation.
Overall, my experience with this AC unit and company has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. The recurring issues, lack of timely and effective solutions, and the current situation of being left without functioning air conditioning in the summer heat have left me thoroughly dissatisfied. I hope that the company addresses this matter promptly and ensures a resolution to this prolonged inconvenience.

Brandon was excellent! He was punctual, polite, honest and efficient! Very knowledgeable too. He answered all of my questions. He took one look at the unit and knew exactly what was wrong. I could not recommend this tech and company enough.

The Area H&C technician arrived when scheduled and quickly found the problem with the heat pump. It was not a mechanical or electric problem with Trane's units, but a plug on a GFI circuit for the condensate pump thad been tripped. He shared information about the problem with me so that if it happened again, a simple reset of the GFI socket would solve the problem.

The technicians arrived on time, kept me aware of the process as they worked, completed things as planned and were exceedingly polite. Clean up was through. Orientation to my new system was helpful.

Area Hearing and Cooling are amazing! I am in their maintenance plan and it just paid for itself today. My furnace went out and it was 17degrees last night. Thankfully I had a space heater to get me through the night. I called the emergency number this am and my furnace is now fixed! And it barely cost me anything! I’m sure if I called late last night they would have come out and fixed it last night. Thank you to Wes for coming to my rescue! Truly a great company!!!

Sean was prompt and quickly diagnosed that it was the capacitor. He gave me a total quote before installing a new one. Within minutes my air conditioner was blowing air again and my house began cooling off. This is my go to company now for all heating and air! Thanks everyone!

The sales representative & installers of our HVAC system were awesome! Our neighbors recommended this company as they had their HVAC system installed last year. We are also very happy we decided to have Area Heating & Cooling do our installation. They were at our home for 3 days. Everyone was knowledgeable, efficient, courteous, and super nice. After installation, they walked us through our new system and how to use the thermostat. The team was very professional . We highly recommend Area Heating and Cooling.

They diagnose the problem quickly and ordered the a new induction blower part and came out the next day to fix my furnace. I have a service contract with them and have been really happy with their service. With the service contract my furnace gets serviced twice a year for $110 a visit. I got a good discount on today's repair since I have a service contract with them. They do quality work.

We came back from vacation on July 4 and water/condensation was all over the floor. Area cooling came out on 7/5 and got it done quickly right before a heatwave. So thank you arie. He was wondetful
