I scheduled a technician to come and give me a quote on adding an additional vent to my spare bedrooms. I got a call at 10:46 from the office asking if we could move the appointment from 12 to 11:30, to which I said yes. At 11:03, the technician called and asked to confirm what I was looking to get done and gave me a quote of $1,500. I stated that I’ve had what I am asking for done at another house and it wasn’t that much. I said maybe I am not explaining correctly and I can show him once he gets to my house and we will be on the same page. He replied that he wasn’t coming to my house and if I didn’t like the quote to “find another company.” I called the office and am waiting to hear back from the owner. Oh, and I AM finding another company.

For a basic estimate on a non mechanical job they charge a $65.00. RS Andrews and others don't charge a fee for non-mechanical estimate.
