Jason Corvin
so let me start off by saying I've only had these guys come out twice to my house to fix something. First was a pressure switch on my well pump tank that went bad and from scheduling to installation everything went smoothly. Paid roughly $180 for parts and an hour of labor. Not bad overall...
Well about three weeks ago we had some rough rain and my well got lots of sediment in it and I called them again to see if they can come to make sure it wasn't a pipe that broke or rusted out. They came out to inspect the next day and came to the conclusion that the pipes were fine and that I needed new fill valves, a filtration system (which I agree because I have been meaning to install one myself for over a year), and that I get a well guy to raise my pump about 10-15 feet. We also discussed that I needed them to look into some leaking issues I was having from my upstairs full to my downstairs full (BTW 2 plumbers already have looked at). After chatting with the tech on a Tuesday they said they could be out on Friday to fix. Not a problem. Call their well guy and he says he can be out there on Monday after TLI's work and we can look at any issues...great! Thursday night I get a call from the TLI tech and they say they can't come till Mon/Tues of the next week. OK fine. Sunday rolls around and my 1/2 bath toilet starts leaking really bad from the fill valve connection with the water line. Call TLI and say "Hey can I get you guys to come on Monday please instead of Tuesday"...tech says let me talk to my boss and Ill call you right back. Don't actually get a phone call, but a text that they aren't coming till Wednesday now. Of course not super happy with all of this, but I say OK. Wed rolls around and here they roll up to my house right at 8 and get straight to work. They install all new water lines and fill valves (didn't think I need the lines, but did need at least one new valve) and put in the filtration system. Filtration system looks good. Toilets took a little time to get used to the new valves, but they are working fine. They look at all the leaking issues from up to down and determine its the tile in my upstairs that is leaking and I need to retile the entire bathroom upstairs. Tell them that's funny that two other plumbers said the same thing, but that doesn't add up because I've taken showers and seen no leaking downstairs. They said they looked and that's what they saw (without turning on any water to actually see it). Pay roughly $550 for the entire job. Not ten minutes after they leave my 1/2 bath is leaking again. Call them straight up and they are back to my house within ten minutes. They inspect the toilet and say "the tank has a crack in it and it needs to be replaced...do you want us to order you one?" Of course I say no Ill look into that myself Ill call if I need you. Needless to say I won't be calling because IMO 3/4 of the job they did was not needed and they just added on to make the bill higher which is super funny because I was prepared to spend over a grand to fix my issues, but they settled on half of that. Overall they get a B for quality, D for responsiveness, B for professionalism, C for value, C for punctuality. I will not try them for a 3rd time and won't recommend them to anyone else
