I Called several places for my AC needing repaired and American Heating & Air hands down had my business. From the initial call to the home visit the tech was very friendly, personable and knowledgable and I felt he cared about me the customer! He took the time to explain everything and show me what was going on with my unit. He was quick and made great suggestions for my situation. I now have a magnet on my fridge with their name and number and will absolutely use them again!

These guys are great! James took care of us when we needed a new system. Good deal and great work. On the spot when we had a emergency from recent flooding. Unit checked out and we are up and running within 24 hrs!!

James is great to work with and is always knowledgeable about the products that he sells and services. I have work with James since 2011 when my old A/C unit was on its last leg and in 2014 it was time to replace. He give me so many options that I was able to make the best choice on Bryant system and heat pump.

We had our AC go out overnight and called Sunday morning on mother’s day at 8am to see if we could get someone out. They had a tech named James that came out within an hour and did an amazing job. He quickly got us up and running, but also walked me through every step to show me what went wrong and why, and gave me some good suggestions to prevent future issues. Great customer service, couldn’t be happier.

Jay with American Heating & Air provides very thorough and outstanding service, and he takes the time to explain the issues and work through them the best way possible, to ensure your system lasts for years to come. We use American for our rental houses and our primary residence, and Jay always does an excellent job. He is honest, hard working, and does not cut corners. This company is excellent! I have used their services several times over the last six years. They repaired my unit until it had to be replaced. They have also completed maintaince and repair on my hot water heater as well. They are efficient, friendly and very professional. Their pricing is reasonable and they just do an all around great job! They continue to do my routine maintenance when it is needed. I also know that I can depend on them when I need them. I definitely recommend American to everyone!

I am very happy with the service and quality of work that was performed on my heat/AC unit. The gentleman that worked on my unit was very prompt and friendly. He even explained what he was doing while he was doing it and provided me with some cost saving information. I feel that this company is very fair in their pricing and has extraordinary customer service. I would use them again and recommend them to friends and family!

Had some issues with my AC due to lack of maintenance on my part. The year before another service I had called claimed I needed to have my condensation pump replaced and was ready to charge me an arm and a leg for, which turned out to not be the case. When I called American Heating and Air they sent James out who was very knowledgeable. He explained exactly what he was doing and why my AC was having issues in the first place and what I could do to prevent future problems. I will be calling them in the future.

We have used this company for both repair and replacement for our home's heat pump during the past three years. It's nice having someone local that knows you and can show up when we need it. It is also nice to get professional advice beyond just heating and ac. Very knowledgeable and reasonable.

My AC unit stopped working and Ostrom came out and stated it was my compressor, conveniently the most expensive part, and said that it was under warranty so the expected cost "would be around a thousand dollars." After the tech went to the van and made a call returned to say "well I low balled you it's gonna be about $2500." Despite it BEING UNDER WARRANTY. My house was hovering around 85 degrees so I reluctantly agreed for the repair which took them a week to return and fix. It worked for about a week before I noticed my unit began to freeze over. Doing research suggested they did not replace the refrigerant. Knowing it would cost $80 for them to simply "appear" and likely misdiagnose or purposely I can't at this point be certain I decided to call an actual professional to rectify the situation. James with American Heating and Air Conditioning came out that same day and said he could have done the job for less than $1500 and charged my refrigerant for $150 and taught me how to maintain and better increase air flow through the house so I wouldn't have this issue again. He was incredibly knowledgable and helpful unlike the bums at Ostrom.
