I had a negative experience with a local provider who was pressuring me to purchase a new unit or pay 4,200 in repairs to my 7 year old Bryant unit. We contacted Bryant and they recommended American heating and air. I am so glad we contacted them because it saved me a lot of money. My unit was oversaturated with refrigerant that the previous company had added that it did not need. I will contact James with American every time I need service and appreciate his honesty and professionalism. Will be a lifetime customer and can not say enough good things!

James was professional and courteous. He was even able to work me in on the same day I called! He thoroughly explained everything going on with my unit and made sure I understood all of my options. Would definitely call him again!

Upstairs AC unit stopped cooling on the Weekend. James came out on a Saturday and replaced the capacitor. James was very professional and knowledgeable. James squeezed us into his schedule and was able to come right over on the day I called & fix our problem. He was friendly, honest, and charged a very reasonable rate. I was very pleased & would definitely trust him to take care of my future HVAC needs.

After a 0900 call on one of the hottest and most humid days of the year so far, James was here working on our system (which had shot craps) by 1400. We had a coolant leak from a faulty valve stem. He replaced the the valve stem and recharged the system and finished it all in about an hour. It was a great experience and we will definitely do business with them again.

I contacted James early Friday morning with a fan issue with my Bryant Heat Pump. He immediately responded and spend the next 5 hours tracking down a motor for my unit. He was successful and took care of everything the same day. He also notified me that I had not registered my air handler unit and suggested that I immediately contact the company. I did and was able to go from 5 year warranty to 10 year warranty. This goes well beyond other service providers in the valley. Thank you very much, James!

We've used American Heating and Air Conditioning for many years now, and have never had a bad experience. James is honest, trustworthy, and dependable--whenever we've had a problem, he comes out ASAP. He helped us nurse our aging system along for a decade longer than it should have lasted, and kept it going until we could afford to replace it... and then he gave us a great deal and his team worked their tails off to have it done in a timely fashion. He explains everything so the customer knows what's going on, and never tries for the unnecessary upsale.

An additional benefit is that everyone who works for American is a veteran, which I respect a lot. Highly recommended.
