I had Atlantic Plumbing replace my old Central Air unit with a 14 Seer HVAC Package. I was very pleased with the work and impressed by the sheet metal work at the base giving it a very clean look. I had some questions about the installation. They sent a technician out the next day and now all is well.

We had an urgent need to replace our failed hot-water heater. Mark came out and we had a new hot-water heater installed within 4 hours of making the initial call. The technicians were friendly, helpful and polite. We will never go anywhere else.

2017: We have used Atlantic twice now for A.C. repairs. Both technicians each time were knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I called for service both times and received same day service. Pricing is reasonable and service is awesome! We will continue to use Atlantic for the services they provide! Thanks for helping us out!!
2020: Joe came out again for another AC repair, awesome guy. Joe got us up and cool again fast and efficiently. I really appreciate you coming out so quick. It's nice to have a Friendly and Professional company I can rely on! Thanks for the great service, pricing was very affordable.

A complete sham - the worst, please save your money. I contacted Atlantic last Summer to service my AC unit. At the time it was nearly 10 years old. They came out, charged the unit, and offered 3 follow up inspections and charges for approximately $600. To be true, they charged the unit. It worked well. They came back twice afterwards, claimed to inspect it again, and again claimed that the unit was fine, should continue to be fine, and all was well. Well - suddenly we couldn't turn the AC on. I gave them a call. A tech came out and insisted that the coil was shot - had holes all through it. Submitted an invoice for over $5000 to replace the unit. Please avoid these people. I'll be posting the invoices and receipts soon with my personal info masked out. I didn't contact the BBB at the time because I didn't really expect to recoup my expense, but I'm posting this now, especially before the Summer season as a warning to all of you. LOOK ELSEWHERE. You can do better. Trust me.

too bad I can't leave a 0 star. MY hot water tank that they installed a few years ago wasn't working. I could not get it to start. It had gone out 3 times this past month. So I called the emergency number at 11pm and they said they would have someone get back to me because it was after hours. They called me at 7:50am the next morning. They said they will call 30 minutes before they come. Good think I got home from work in time to receive the 3 minute notice they they were coming at 10 am. I was told it just needed to be cleaned. So $225.00 later my hot water was on. by that night I noticed the water wasn't as hot as it usually is. By the
next day, my son calls me in the morning to tell me he went to take a shower and it was cold. Called them and talked to some rude secretary that tells me they do not have an appointment until tomorrow afternoon. I said well that is bulls%$%$#. that I paid over $200 the day before . She sat there for 5 minute and said it was not an emergency and that I should not use that language. So i told her I needed someone here today. She said the manager could have someone out here later today but didn't know what time. Fine I said, I don't care if they come out at 10 pm. Again she tries to correct my language, which she is still talking about from 10 minutes ago. Get over it lady. So don't call this company if u have an emergency because there is no one available after hours in an emergency situation but will charge u over $200 and not fix the issue. Maybe if they spend a little more time doing a better job cleaning instead of a 10 minute job, they would not have to come back.

I messaged the company on a Sunday night about a leak in my laundry (on 2nd floor) and One of the assistance message me back in 10 minutes seeing if it was an emergency or if you could wait till the morning I said I could wait to the morning and they would call me at 8 AM. Unfortunately he copied my number down wrong so I didn’t get a phone call but when I called him at nine they were very apologetic and said they would have somebody out today. Dave and Jordan arrived And were extremely polite and got right to inspecting for location of the leak. Leak was isolated and all repairs made in about 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Price for repairs was very reasonable and I will definitely recommend them to any friends in the area.

After replacing our water main to our house our yard and walkway have experienced settling. I specifically asked prior to the project if the walkway would be impacted and was assured it would not. After the project I received a text stating that if I experience settling after rain to contact them and they will address. So, we texted, we called, and we called again. Finally we got a response that they would address. Weeks go by and nothing. We call again and they say they came by. This is a lie because we have cameras set up that aim on the area. Now they say they can’t fix the walkway but will drop off dirt. Here we are over a week later and no dirt. This company is the worst!!!

My AC is not working. I booked an apt early last week and we have just been dealing with it. The apt was confirmed and here we are 9:48 and no one showed up. My husband took off work this morning to be here. However that is not what prompted this review. The owner just called me and was extremely rude. His comment was we called and sent a text and we assumed no one was home.
I explained that I was up all night and my husband had been sitting here waiting on him. He responded in a nasty tone, well we can get someone out later but the tec is already on another call.
I then asked this man if he was the owner and due to his tone and just the over all attitude. He advised me that he was and I advised him NO thank you we will go with another company.
He actually replied GOOD. WOW! THat's the type of service one gets for 175.00 and they have yet to even look at my ac.
Maybe I should have gave them another 25.00 make an even 200 and he could kick me in the face. Part of being in a service industry is dealing with people. If you lack people skills find another job!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If they can't show up and talk nicely to the people whom give them work, they do not deserve work.

The owner replied to this post with nothing but excuses to why they did not show up, pointing the finger at me the customer. They had nothing but excuses and not an apology for the way I was treated by the OWNER of this company.. See below.
I WANT TO MAKE THIS VERY CLEAR! I am writing the review due to the attitude of the owner and how I was treated. I would of been happy to have them come later in the day, but the tone of this man that I spoke to was shocking.
When you own a company treating customers like garbage does not help you thrive. Telling someone when they had had enough of your nasty attitude, "good" in reply to that they will be taking their business someplace else does not make for a good review sir!
Treating a paying ( YES I PAID 175.00 for nothing) customer like a second class human because I happen to be the renter and not the owner is mind blowing. I guess these days when you rent that makes you a broke pile of garbage. My husband is military and we do not plan on settling here permanently. Not that I need to defend myself for renting my home.
So excuse me if I rent and I'm sorry that happens to put me in some scum category in your mind. Yes! I am beyond offended and have every right to be.
So summing this up I was not able to see the work they provide because they did not make it to my home. Please read there defence. They tried to contact me for less then 15 min first by phone then by text message. My phone was OFF and my husband was waiting for a KNOCK at the DOOR. I thought that is what people do when they have an appointment. Clearly not with this company!
I can tell you that the owner is a one of the nastiest men I have ever had the pleasure to speak to. I will also say that I WAS charged 175.00 for a service call that never happened.
I moved on to another company turns out my downstairs ac needed a fan motor. The company I used is super nice, did not charge to come out and gave us a great rate to replace it. He also paid no atten to that I happen to be a renter. His comment was I do not care who pays as long as I get paid. AMEN! If you want his info see it below. As far as this company I think the owner should be coming up on retirement and might want to push that up since he clearly lacks the skill to deal with people and people is something one must deal with when owning a business.

A couple months ago, my wife and I smelled gas leaking from our water heater. We called Atlantic and Shawn came out and fixed the issue promptly. Just yesterday, our A/C went out and we again called Atlantic. Shawn again was onsite promptly (within 2 hours of us calling) and had our A/C up and running the best it’s been in years. I’d also like to mention we called several other local HVAC companies and none of them even bothered responding to our calls. Shawn was knowledgeable, courteous, and answered all our questions. Prices have been fair and we never felt we were getting scammed or ripped off. We will definitely continue to use Atlantic in the future.
