Amazing Comfort came out on a Saturday. Keshawn the tech was very personable and professional and thorough. He explained what he was doing, and why the system had shut off. I would use them again through my American Home Shield company!!!!!!

When they came out last week June 28, the technician informed us that reason our A/C was not working was because of a wire and he had been repaired. The A/C was functioning when he left but sometime during the night it stopped working. I called my home warranty company once realizing what had happened. I also called Amazing Comfort and told them what occurred. After several attempts to contact Amazing Comfort, I finally got someone to answer. The young lady on the phone told me that she would not be able to have anyone to come back out until July 6. Of course, I asked why this couldn't be expedited since their technician was out the day before and stated the system was repaired. She told me they were extremely busy and the earliest would-be July 6. I asked to speak with a supervisor. She informed me that she was the supervisor, and the owner of the company would not be back until after July 4. Not wanting to start the process over again, I agreed to the date. On yesterday, the technician came out and informed us the motor needed to be replaced. Of course, I was upset but not unreasonable. I asked the technician how long it would take to get this resolved. He said to me that he was not sure. He said that he did not believe it would be a parts issue because they could probably get it locally, but it would be a matter of getting it scheduled because they were quite busy; however, he would put it in his notes to expedite. I asked him if he could call it in right then since we have been out of air for over a week. He said if he called, he could be placed on hold for more than 10 minutes but assured me he would place in notes to expedite. After he left, I called not only my home warranty company, but I called Amazing Comfort 11 times only to get a recording telling me to leave a message and to find out I was unable to do so because the voicemail was full. Yesterday, I placed a negative review on this company because the company did not have a sense of urgency in resolving our problem. Miraculously the review caught their attention, and my wife received a phone call from Jimmy who said he was a manager asking what the company could do to get me to take down the review because this is how the company receive referral work. My wife informed him that I had placed the review and she would contact me and call him back. He told her that if the review was deleted that he would expedite the ordering of the part and place us in front of 100 other individuals. He then went on to say that we were getting a $1200 or $1500 part for $75. She also told him that she had some medical issues, and she needed the A/C. He told her that everyone is telling him the same thing. When I was contacted by my wife, she told me of her conversation with Jimmy. I told her this was blackmail; however, against my better judgement I would take down the comment since we had been without A/C so long. My wife attempted to call Jimmie back. Par for the course, received voicemail and was unable to leave a message. I called my warranty company this morning and they said they could not do anything until a diagnosis was received from Amazing Comfort.
What strikes me here is if they were sincere about getting this matter resolved, the diagnosis would have been sent yesterday just like they called my wife when they saw the review I posted yesterday.
I am beyond upset right now. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Came out to repair my leak, fixed it, and then overcharged my unit by 3 pounds! Came out 3 more times, replaced my fan, my capacitor, and swapped my programmable thermostat for a basic one and could not figure out the issue! I had to have another contractor come out to figure out in 3 minutes that they had extremely over charged my unit. This whole experience lasted 2 months, most of which, I was without AC during the peak of summer! NEVER AGAIN.

Nice people and very helpful they walked me through the whole process and did a fantastic job with the install of a whole new system and after a few months of having the new heating and air conditioning installed I had some questions I called and the same day the owner came by the house and answered all of my questions and did a inspection while he was there… absolutely fantastic job ….this is way it is always best to support local businesses because they care for their customers!!!!

My upstairs A/C unit had a Freon leak in the coil. Their repair man was able to locate the problem in no time and took the coil back to the shop and returned, reinstalled, and charged the system with no problem since. Amazing Comfort really lives up to their name.

Where do I begin… now I gotta keep it 1000 because this company was referred to me by my home warranty AHS. The reviews for this company were horrible and the reviews on BBB from people reporting this company made me have anxiety. I was already hot and frustrated from having no air in over 105 Degree weather. At first I didn’t want to deal with this company based on that alone but I said there are some good reviews but there are some really terrible ones to that were recent but I said let me give it a try. Now what stood out was there were good reviews for a gentleman named Mr. Keyshawn and he was my technician for that day. When I tell you Mr. Keyshawn came into my home very professional and he thoroughly inspected everything that he needed to inspect and he answered all the questions that I asked with superb knowledge . He checked everything possible to make sure that my air came back on and he gave me awesome tips to keeping my system clean and up and running, this is what I call Great customer service I’m not sure about everyone else but I had an awesome experience with amazing comfort and there technician was Mr. Keyshawn and I want to thank him and let everybody know that if you get Mr. Keyshawn because of my experience with him your going to get a great experience.

Amazing Comfort is easily one of the best HVAC companies in the Hampton roads area! Working with Jimmy and Autumn on a few projects and it truly has been a pleasant experience! They are very responsive, always get back to me in a timely matter, and anytime I have a question they answer it. 5/5 recommend if you have any HVAC needs!
