I purchased a new system 2 days agao and ir stoped working . I called what was the 24 hour service they offered what a joke. It is not 24 hour service nothing explained to me me and the technician didn't even know how to program the thermostat.
Pretty frustrated with my service. They misdiagnosed my problem, and then charged me 750$ to clean it (already absurd) which was supposed to fix the problem. It didn't. So now I am out 750 bucks and my furnace is still out of commission. I would stay away.
The installation went well but I found the follow-up maintence contract for service to be less than satisfactory. Despite the purchase of the service contract, soon after the installation, I had trouble with a sophisticated thermostat which I had paid $500 extra for, it was replaced with a simple thermostat for an additional fee. The service person then attempted to leave with the thermostat that I had paid over $500 for without offering any compensation at all. When I resisted and asked for compensation I was told the thermostat was not covered in the installation. The last scheduled service call was a disaster because the technician neglected to turn the hot water back on and the heat was left on 50. When I called for the contracted emergency service on a Friday night at 8pm, noone answered the phone. My condo was cold and without hot water until the next day when a neighbor was gracious enough to check for a gas leak and light the pilot after numerous calls to At Your Service failed a response. The emergency call was finally returned, days later, on Monday morning with the explantion that somehow the emergency service was not available.
When my furnace broke down after business hours service was still scheduled quickly and easily for the next day. The service tech arrived an hour ahead of schedule and diagnosed the problem in minutes. The repair required a part that he did not have with hi, but he went out of his way to get the part and still get my furnace up and running within a couple of hours. It was really a pleasure watching somebody work that really knew what he was doing, and cared about my needs.
$79 Dispatch Fee did not include anything beyond minimal diagnostic work. Was told that low head pressure (low refrigerant) was the most likely cause, but $235 gauge hookup fee would be required to test. Was told that refrigerant would be $110 a lb but that did not include a hookup fee to add the refrigerant to the system. Its unclear if the $235 gauge fee would have been credited to the repair bill.
Brendan was timely, called just before he arrived, got right to work. Seemed like he did a more thorough job than we've had before. He vacuumed the outside A/C unit and then washed it out. I don't remember that being done before. Because of his excellent service, I decided to renew the contract (which I previously had decided NOT to do). Great job Brendan.!!
The technician was skilled, knowledgeable and professional. I inquired about flushing the hot water tank and was given good information and then not pressured into doing the service. Based on the information that we were given, the service was performed and it most likely has extended the life of our hot water tank. Thank you
Charged for unnecessary call because didn’t have the gas value was told was needed. The estimate here to fix the problem was much higher than a competitor, so ended up canceling work. There was some confusion with the billing, but Denise at the office worked everything out over the phone.

I paid the $79 and parted ways.
