On behalf of my mom Joan Traylor due to her not knowing how to leave a review I'm doing it for her at her request lol. She said these are the best group of guys. She had no air in this Texas heat so they put a window unit in for the weekend until they could get the part on Monday. Monday they where there and worked all day until they got it fixed. How many people would do that? Thank you guys so much

UPDATE: I am updatig my review as I said I would. Mr Scott Obriant called me back last week and we talked about my complain. We came to an agreement and part of what I paid was returned to me. We also talked about about what else can be done in my case to change my AC. Thank you for calling me back, listening to my side of the story and agree to a resolution and doing the right thing.
I called and asked if they did free estimates I was told YES by the lady on the phone. The representative came out and was nice. He proceeded to tell me I had no freon and I need probably 3 pounds but I needed to replace my system and I needed 2 units instead of one and so on. I went inside, then he came inside. He had put 5 puonds of freon without asking me, then he said I probably had a leak, he wasn't even sure I did. Why would you put freon if I had a leak, why did you put 5 without telling/asking me what I had to pay first, why did I get charge a diagnose fee and nobody including the guy that came out bother to tell me about it before he even did anything. The woman on the phone didn't say that either and I specifically asked if they had free estimates and she said YES. Then I called back after realizing I just got ripped off. The same same lady that answered the firs time answered again, after I told her what happened she said oh I'll let them know this is the answering service. Serously!!! I will update my comment when and if I hear back from them. I was told oh don't worry this will go towards the new unit. I was thinking, I haven't decided if I am getting one. If this is how they run business, by lying and tricking customers, I do not recomend you even call them. I hope I get an answer. I have notice all the negative comments don't get a reply but all they good ones do. I would like to know why? if I do get a replay from this place and a fair resoluton I will comeback and update this comment to show they are a trustworthy company. The name Scott was sthrown at me a couple of times during the visit and what a good christian man he is. I hope so and I hope Mr Scott O'Briant you do the right thing.

I don't know where to start, my a.c. went out and we were hopeless. With so many companies coming at us for money, it started to look like we would have no working A/C. Not knowing where to turn, I told my friend Angel that we lost our A/C and instantly she recommended Scott at American Heating and Air Conditioning.
Boy let me tell you that was the blessing that we had been waiting on. Not only did they come give us a.c., they have us hope and kindness.

I think one of the smartest things I've ever done was to call you to check my air conditioner. I called on a Sunday afternoon. your guys were here on Monday and finished by the weekend. they hardly stopped for breaks. thanks for all you did. may God bless all of you for a great job. Shirley Goad

Sad News... Bad Service back in 2007 when my AC guy showed up with his 16 year old helper and installed the new system with the wrong size return air duct that had to be changed out for larger. They screwed up the drain lines by not glueing pvc and it leaked out onto the nursery right above the crib. The owner Steve came out and brought the same guy back out to fix the Sheetrock, glue and rerun the drain lines for the condensate. They had more work to do, but I guess they were too busy to finish... Now, just 8 years later, the Amana they installed is junk. GO SOME PLACE ELSE! My last unit was 20+ yrs old.
