We had a terrible experience with the technician that came for A/C tuneup. He told us it needs freon and then next thing we knew he charged us an extra $300 on top of the amount they had told us. It was a surprise for us as he didn’t tell us it will be an extra charge before adding the Freon. The A/C does not feel ANY different than before. It was cooling just fine before and it still is cooling the same. Worst of all when I asked why we weren’t informed of the extra charge before he adds the Freon, the technician was incredibly rude and angry. I felt threatened by his tone and we will never hire these people again. Maybe their other technicians are more professional and don’t have anger management problems but this guy was the worst. Their management was supposed to give us a call and they never did.
I would recommend this company to anyone needing an honest evaluation and professional repair. They are dependable and as the name says they provide the services with Airtegrity. They utilized a team approach with good communication with me and each other. Our situation was complicated. Thank you Bryan for recognizing a problem and fixing another. Thank you to Francisco, Brandon and Beto for you help. Thank you to Shad who took lead, stuck through the added issues and did an incredible job. Hats off!
It was difficult finding a local company who would replace air ducts. I was impressed with Airtegrity from the moment Francisco (the owner) walked through my door). My house, built in 1973, was in dire need of new air ducts. They had holes, lose joints, were filthy, and open to the attic in many places. Francisco knew exactly what to do, and began measuring and calculating for what our house needed. Turns out, our house wasn't balanced well, either. The installers were fantastic. On-time, professional, friendly, and cleaned up after themselves each day [the attic insulation gets everywhere!]. There was a minor problem regarding the grills and holes in the ceiling, but Airtegrity responded and fixed it quickly and without a fight. The ducts were installed in early November 2021, and we've now lived with them for just shy of three months. Our house has NEVER been so warm in the winter! The house is definitely balanced, now, and air flow is amazing, even at the far end of the long and thin house (the units are on the opposite end). We did also purchase a new 2-stage HVAC, though, but that's only partly responsible. Their fee was very reasonable for the amount and quality of work completed. Would definitely recommend Airtegrity!
Poor customer service, poor communication, and non tranparent pricing. Beware of getting inconspicously upsold and not being told it's going to cost extra. Make sure to confirm the charges of any service offered and confirm with the tech what he is doing so how much it's going to cost you. Make sure 1 pound of freon doesn't turn into 3 pounds and $300.
Also, they are really bad about taking complaints. Sometimes, you just need to calm the customer down and admit there was a breakdown in communication and try to just assure the customer that the service was needed. The tech yelled at my wife and made her feel uncomfortable over the phone.
Then they posted a reply to my wife's review, basically illustrating their poor customer service and throwing an uncalled for jab at me, "your husband needs authorization to spend $300". Nobody needs to authorize what I spend, but it would be nice if one of us was communicated how much this additional service was going to cost. Most of us people out here don't know what a pound of freon retails at. So get to know who your customers are. If we called you for an inspection and negotiated a lower price of $99, don't you think for some reason we would want to know if we are going to be charged $300 on top of that for freon????
The company is very professional! techs arrive on time and are very friendly. They’ve done our yearly hvac maintenance twice now and installed a minisplit ductless system last summer. The minisplit had some issues at first but they were always quick to respond and send someone to assess the situation the next day and fix it up.
I was referred to Airtegrity by my neighbor. They are a small company but thoroughly knowledgeable and professional. They performed a thorough assessment of my needs and were very competitive from a pricing standpoint. The new HVAC installation was completed as per plan and will use their service in future.
Heating and AC quit working. Called airtegrity and they got me on the books next day. Bryan called and said he could come earlier if available. He was quick with a solution & explained everything. He did research for a bigger possible issue and provided a fix too. He left everything better than he found it and took the trash too. Very kind, respectful, and just a wonderful human. I’ve used Airtregity before and will continue to as issues arrive. 10/10!
